    actually the charger won't charge to 4.2v by default. normally the charging voltage is only 4.0v so the battery voltage is only abt 3.9v. however it's very easy to adjust the output voltage of charger, change the output to 4.2-4.3v will give the 650mah R-123s full power. will post a new thread...

    thanks guys. yes i just noticed the discharge current for those batts are really LOW. so maybe i'll consider use the CR123 with spacers. 3rd shift, would you please give me more information about the bulb? i assume that will powered by 3 CR123s in a 2C size spacer, am i correct?
