    Sorry calflash, missed your reply somehow. You do nice work, clip looks great and matches nicely with the Ti. :thumbsup: The screw heads look darker in colour than normal (almost black). Did you treat them in some way or is it a trick of the light?

    These are the long nose pliers I use (and in the pictures): http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/proskit-carbon-steel-esd-long-nose-pliers-n48bg perfect for Don's 3s light engine. From Maplin, a UK electronics store. @calflash - is the clip Damascus steel? Did you do the work yourself?

You get a super shiny effect without blowing the highlights as would happen in direct sunlight. They look better than in real life! These are all users, except the PD-S. Each has a...

    Congrats RichS! IMO the PD-S is the most beautiful light ever made. The design of the PD body is timeless, it still looks better than anything else and hasn't dated since release and I don't think it ever will - as your photo testifies. I can only hope Don, at some stage, re-visits the PD...

    Thanks guys. The AA Pak is a beautiful design - it does look awesome with the SunDrop head. Looks great with a Mule head as well. No photos of the Mule head but a final set for the AA Pak and Sundrop:

    My McGizmo SunDrop head with Nichia 083A LED paired with a new AA Ti Pak just recieved from Don. Shot on the kitchen sink draining board in south facing natural sun light. I like the ridges on the draining board aiding the very simple compositions.

    I think Don outdid himself with the design of the AA Pak, it's perfectly balanced aesthetically. Looks awesome with the Mule and Sundrop head. Not so sure with the Haiku head, a bit long - but that is purely personal preference. The longer tail butt, the wide ridges and the clip mounted right...
