Free Shipping on $75 SF @AGR

Lets hope this is a trend with Surefire products at the internet retail level. It takes some of the sting out of the price increases.

    RAFFLE?

I'm presently the admin & organizer for a raffle on another forum for one of my other hobbies (airsoft). Prizes for that raffle will be awarded the first week in April. I'd be happy to do it for this forum, if there was enough interest. I have a system using unique email addresses, templated...

Have any Stainless screws for ErgoXray?

It appears South Coast Stainless *may* have what we need, but I'm kinda a dummy when it comes to screw specs. If someone would be kind enough to tell me the type, length, diam., thread pitch, and head for these screws then I'll attempt to get a number of them and make 'em available to CPF...

Have any Stainless screws for ErgoXray?

Home Depot had nothing that would work. Marine store had nothing in size needed.

Have any Stainless screws for ErgoXray?

Not sure if I posted this in the right area. If not, plz feel free to move. I've checked every applicable store in town looking for stainless steel screws to replace those found on the Eternalight ErgoXray. Mine will be part of my kayaking equipment and will probably get wet from time to...

Go to AGR and check out Surefires new prices

Received reply today from Ed Reynolds, VP at SF. Nothing informative, but my letter has been forwarded to SF's Pres. As suggested before, use their contact page and let your feelings be known to the VP, Sales & R&D. It can't hurt, and at least you'll be heard.

Go to AGR and check out Surefires new prices

Thank Gawd the lesson is over! Can we now get back to lamenting the drastic price increase of many SF products?!

Go to AGR and check out Surefires new prices

My point was "real value" versus the inflated price the govt. may pay (i.e. - $3000 hammer syndrome). Your economics refresher is sound, but its apparent I touched a nerve, despite my best efforts to ask you not to take offense. I still hope you get your Hellfire, although I know I and many...

Go to AGR and check out Surefires new prices

bkral - plz don't take offense, but you bring about some logic we must be careful of. If SF will jack up consumer prices, they probably have done so across the board - including the "lucrative government contracts" you mention. You & I and the rest of the public pay for our lights purchased on...

Go to AGR and check out Surefires new prices

My letter just went out to all relevant parties at SF. If you visit their site there is a page with contact info. Might I suggest the VP at a minimum gets a letter, but cc'g sales & development can't hurt either (these areas only exist in organizations to sell more product). PK should care...

Go to AGR and check out Surefires new prices

I'm only hanging in there for an E1e and LED bezel. I might be interested in an LED bezel for my M2 & M3, but depends on price. Other than that, I have no addl. need or desire for SF products based on current pricing trends. I've reached my pain threshold - even an addict has one.

Go to AGR and check out Surefires new prices

Might I suggest that we the consumer voice our opinion to SF regarding this price increase/change in pricing strategy. Folks, this is a big jump in price, no doubt about it. It says very little about SF's desire to have us purchase their products, but it states rather loudly that they want...

    Thoughts about Surefire

Perhaps an unusual M3 use will lighten things up? <not making light of 9/11 BTW - some folks deserve everything we can give them, while others will forever shine in the hearts & minds of many> I've found a unique way to get my kids attn. at the local ski resort (very small one) when they are...

    e2 or e2e?

You mean that's not what those sides on the bezel are for!? Uh oh, well the HA finish looks just fine, but I need a wrench just to change bulbs now....<kiddin'> Also, how soon do you want the torch? My understanding (from Surefire board) is that E2e's unveiled at SHOT before going on sale...

Normark Is Back! Arc AAA Sheaths?

Just got an email from him. It appears he's playing some major "catch-up" on things both computer & kydex based He asked me to let the folks on CPF know that he'll be back soon. Sounded like he's getting caught up on some Xmas orders, as well as <gulp> 3-4 wks. of email. Also sounded like...

Arc AAA Turq & LE - Pocket or Keychain?

Move if need be, althought the base question is the best use of a white light vs. a green light, albeit as provided via LED.

Arc AAA Turq & LE - Pocket or Keychain?

Just to clarify...... OK, maybe I'm a little concerned about scratching up the lights, but the one I commit to the keyring is definitely operating in dangerous territory. Normark, oh Normark, where have you gone with the Kydex sheaths??????? What I'm really looking to determine with this...

Need advice on O Ring lube

RC gear shock "oil" is 100% silicone w/out additives or petro base and comes in various viscosities. It works wonders on all sorts of seals & rubbery parts and provides a thin, long lasting film. I've used it on numerous o-rings in my time w/out degradation of materials. I also recommend NOT...
