Fenix "Side Switch in the Head" User Interface - Good or Bad?

In the case regarding the PD32UE, I don't find changing the grip a big deal at all. The light is small and narrow enough that I find I can make the transition quite easily. I also have a TK22 and find it a little more difficult to make the switch as the tube is a bit thicker but still not a big...

**NEW** Fenix PD32 Ultimate Edition (XM-L T6 NW, 740 lumen)

I really like this new light from Fenix. While I can sympathize with some people wishing it was more of a thrower, I feel this was not the intended use for the light. For up close and short distances this thing rocks. The color rendition is beautiful and it really puts a lot of light directly...

Begiining to understand why so many of you have so many lights.

I'm still waiting for a manufacturer to produce a light that emits photons faster than 186,000 miles per second. I find that all of the lights I have now have too much of a delay from the time I turn it on to the time the light actually hits my target. :shakehead Cheers!

    Fenix Bike Lights?

Hey guys, I was on the Fenix-store.com website and was reading through some of the product release posts there. I came across the post for the new LD12 but the thing that caught my eye was a statement made at the end of the post that said... "And the bike lights...well, freaking cool!". You...

    Help with a single AA

I have the Quark AA tactical light from 4-7's and I love it. You can set it up so that if the bezel of the light is tightened all the way it will default to remain on 'high' (109 lumens) or if you loosen it just a bit then it will default to being on 'low' (0.2 lumens which is great for the...

    NEW FENIX MC10

Mr. Floppy... Here's a closer shot of my emitter on my MC10. It's the best I could do with my digital camera. I'm no emitter expert but looks like XP-E?

    NEW FENIX MC10

Just received my MC10 today in the mail (black). Overall I was quite impressed with it. Solid design, fits well in the hand, and even a bit brighter than I was expecting. I took some photos to show the emitter, beam shot on high, and just a couple others. I can take other photos upon...

    NEW FENIX MC10

I was lucky enough to be one of the second prize winners for the Fenix contest. I'm looking forward to receiving one of these lights and personally, I think they look cool for the purpose they serve. To me, this will be a great light to take camping and also to have in the car. :)

    Need help finding EDC clicky

This light is a twisty instead of a clicky but I'll throw it out there anyway: Fenix P1D CE 71mm in length and has a lanyard attachment at the rear. Very bright for it's size at 180 lumens and is currently my edc. Great light. You can check it out at fenix-store or 4sevens.

    Favorite Fenix model?

I'd vote for the P1D Q5 myself. It's a great 180lm light packed into 71mm of space that's ideal for an edc. But for me, the best part about this light is the 'wow' factor I get when I show people how much light comes out of such a small package. Oddly, I occasionally wow myself with it when I...

    Fenix E01 long-term reliability

My E01 has been rock solid and use it almost every day. I utilize the 'chapstick cap' diffuser for checking on my kid at night.. works great. I think if there was a nuclear holocaust the only thing that would survive would be cockroaches and E01's. :wow:

    I need a replacement for a Fenix P1D Q5

I'd recommend the Olight T10 Q5. It's a CR123 light, 89mm long with a 23mm diameter (a tad longer but thinner than the liteflux) and weighs 35g without the battery as opposed to the liteflux's 56.5g It'll run on max for 1 hour. You can see it at the Olight Website...

    longest regulated runtimes?

Fenix E20? https://www.4sevens.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_69_71&products_id=498 Not really a low output but it is single mode and waterproof to IPX-8 standards. :grin2:

    Help a noob!

4sevens is selling the Olight T10 Q5 for $39 (regular $55). The 2008 version is ~180 lumens (cr123X1) and from what I hear has a good throw. Might be worth taking a look at. I ordered one for myself.

    Olight question or verification please....

Ok, thanks BBF, that clears that up. Good to see Olight kept it simple with these models. <grin>

    Olight question or verification please....

Hey all, I just ordered an Olight T10 Premium Q5 from 4sevens and I was just curious about the lumen output. It states on 4sevens that it's max output is 135 lumens but most other reviews I've seen on it states that it's 180-190 lumens. It makes no difference to me either way as it is a very...
