    blue shark problem

Hi folks, i have a strange problem with an Blue Shark i built into a RC car. the shark runs a 6 XPG string from 3 LiIon cells. Shark and Leds are adequate heatsinked, nothing got more than hand warm even on longer runs. Now the light come still on, but only dimly and draws about 200mA from...

Did anybody change the batteries on the K2000R?

Title says all, compared to the other 24W HIDs that use 3 18650 cells it seems like either the ballast is very inefficient or they just use cheap batteries. Anyone opened up the battery compartment yet?

Combat Grip for the Surefire E-series

I really like the Combat Grip in my M3, so I decided to add something similar to smaller Lights. Just an O-ring wrapped around. I carried the light for two weeks now, and it works perfect! Much better grip and that for the cost of some cents. Of course a pocket clip has to be removed /...

Runtime test: M3T+A19 with 2x 168A Liion cells

Hi all, i wondered what the runtime of my often used M3T is, so i did a runtime test with pictures, using MN16. The flashlight body was bored out and a A19 adapter was added, to allow using 2 168A cells. First minute is a little brighter, then almost constant output until minute 25,then...

Why does the L1 ues a 3 watt LED ?

This may be a dumb question, but i really don´t see a point why they do that. Well, the only advantage is that all the 3 watters seem to have a very good tint, but a good binned high dome can´t cost as much as a LUX3.

    new DOCTER led light?

Has anyone seen the new Docter Aspherilux spotligt LED yet? seems really interesting: 5 watt LED, regulated, variable brightness settings. Drawbacks are 3 AA batteries (not much power for a LuxV) and the "spotlight beam" with no sidespill.(like inova X1) at least the catalogue description says...

    M3T drop testing (unintended)

Yesterday i dropped my M3T the first time, height was less than one meter, guess what's happened? I am pretty disapointed with that. Of course, the lens is pyrex and fragile, but on the other side i have dropped my A2 and M@g mods (UCL lens) numerous times and only some dents in the aluminium...

    Downboy1000 for 5watter?

Hi! I want to build a mod similar to the SNII, but i want to use a 2D Mag as host and drive it with 8 NiMh AA's But I have no opinion how bright which converter board will be compared to the Space Needle. I think I have read the SN draws 1,2A from fresh batteries, so I guess the DB1000 would be...
