    Anyone done this? G2 + KT1

One of my favorite lights is the G2 / G2z coupled with the SRTH. Much sleeker looking than the KT1.

    G2Z waterproofness

Hi folks, you could add about forty two o-rings and it would not help at all. I had the same problem when i got my G2Z. Found out that i even could blow air through the tailcap! (while changing batteries) The fix: -Tear the spring out of the tailcap -Find a fitting hex wrench and screw out the...

    Surefire backwards batts

There is no difference at all with an incandescent lamp. The lamp did not fail because of the backwards inserted batteries.

    Rechargeable A2?

Now that is strange, both of my A2 run without the bulb inserted! I had to tighten the bezel a little more as usual, but it worked. On the other hand, why do you want to remove the dead bulb without having a new one to swap?

    M6-R

Can´t agree here, if you have one each standard M6 and M6R you can easily tell which one is tha M6R. But it is not too noticeable in actual use, except you want do fast blinking signals.

    Just bought a new M4

M4 comes from the factory with MN 60 and MN61 The "superbulb" is the N62, rated with 500 Lumens/12 minutes.

    Modified Mag Focus Questions

The high power bulbs don't focus to a spot as tight as the stock bulbs, because their filament is much larger.

    What's wrong with this picture?

i guess they call it 18V that people don´t use their MN15/MN16/N2 lamps in it and onder why they only last a short time....

Do turbo heads "need" a glass lens?

Re: Do turbo heads \"need\" a glass lens? At $60 i´d try if it stands against the heat. And from the picture it looks like a glass lense can be installed if really needed.

Question about A2 and Incan regulator

P60 isn`t realy brighter than the A2.. I general, the regulator delivers a fixed voltage to the bulb, that maeans the bulb can be exchanged for one that needs the exact same voltage. There is no easy way to do so (except the M6R, hehe)

    Need your opinion on Surefire

Look for a 3" K head. Even the 65 Lumens of the N1 lamp give impressive throw with these IMHO. (Click on pictures for larger view)

    Rechargeable A2?

Look at the LED board, there are resistors for each LED on it. These can be exchanged and nothing else is needed, as the xenon beam is already regulated and will work with the higher voltage. (Willie Hunt LVR) I look for an extra LED ring some time now, to swap out the LEds wit newer ones...

    Opinions on SureFire 8AX?

I also have "only" an 8NX. Beam isn´t as smooth as a P60, but not really bad. No LOTC, and no posibility to use a remote switch. And the weakest point: The B90 Battery packs suck. Even if you get one that works reliable and holds charge, the runtime is still quite short. Make you one or two or...

I dropped my A2 from waist height!!!

It is, after all an incand light, and these bulbs are fragile, no matter if they are in a Surefire or somehting else. Maybe a shock isolated bezel would have helped, but even these are not "designed to be dropped" That said, i dropped my own A2 more often than i can remember, sometimes on...

How long (hours) do Pila LA's last?

Re: How long (hours) do Pila LA\'s last? I have a G4 which has at least 30 charges on it. Maybe that is not typical because the Same bulb can be driven with 4 CR123, so it is likely underdriven on the rechargeables.
