Power inverter that runs on 18 volts?

Might be easier to series two batteries and use a 36 vdc inverter. Other than the power levels are going to be quite high...

What is the newest/best Nitecore 4 cell charger?

Looked up the USM4. Would be good with USB C and PD powered. Not a fan of QC, since only specific USB chargers have it.

Noco G3500 - safe to charge from car's 12V socket

Web says that turning the key 45 degrees activates the electronic trunk release. Turning 90 with a lot more resistance opens the mechanical release. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Noco G3500 - safe to charge from car's 12V socket

Some sockets are directly connected (through the fuse block) to the battery. However, a majority are now switched on with the ignition. You won't be able to charge that way, if it is. Is your hood release electronic? No other way to get it open? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Anyone have the SkyRC NC2500 charger?

Mine remembers the current set last in the app. It seems to remember this even through a short power cycle. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Anyone have the SkyRC NC2500 charger?

In post 101, I had app version 0.98 and fw 1.05 on the Android side. Since then, I had a firmware load and I am at app 0.98 and fw 1.09. What is your Dec 3rd fw version? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4

Anyone have the SkyRC NC2500 charger?

Never mind. I posted that the firmware did not go through the update process when the app updated on mine. Mine showed the correct version, so it was suggested that I just missed the update. It seems to have picked this connection to push the version of firmware that was already loaded. Sent...

Anyone have the SkyRC NC2500 charger?

My app just pulled own a new firmware. This must be decoupled from the actual application updates. Wish there was a change log. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4

Anyone have the SkyRC NC2500 charger?

I definitely agree that the charging cycle doesn't measure true current and is time versus setting. As long as that current is reasonably well calibrated, I am OK with it. Discharge seems to be measuring something. My channels 1-3 are fairly close to each other, while my channel 4 has ~5%...

Anyone have the SkyRC NC2500 charger?

What are the current versions? Mine did not go through the firmware update described. My revisions are App = 0.9.8, firmware 1.05. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4

Anyone have the SkyRC NC2500 charger?

Based off my observations, it is when any of the 4 batteries hit this temp. Now it may be keeping the internals cool, as well. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4

Anyone have the SkyRC NC2500 charger?

Received mine. Thought the Bluetooth might be a gimmick, but it makes it easy to setup all of the channels at the same time. Overall, I like it. However, my channel 4 measures significantly low on discharge capacity. I am going to have to do a full comparison, by cycling all four batteries...

Anyone have the SkyRC NC2500 charger?

My old LaCrosse charger quit terminating on one channel. This was only a *few* dollars more than the Maha, so I ordered one. Looking forward to its arrival. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4

    NC2500 on the way!

Looked it over and it is very interesting. Since it is so new, I can't find any reviews, so I look forward to your impressions and review.

Wanted to chime in and say that those are really good photos, even though it was said before. Great job!

    Issue with Intellicharger I4 V2

I had some false full charges on mine. For mine, I opened it up, fixed the crappy soldering on the springs (both ends) and lubed the sliders. The spring is the actual conductor for the negative terminal. Mine has worked since, but I don't know what item fixed it.

    JETBeam Intellicharge i4

Industrial 4D, Energizer Brand (from Sam's club). I did the work at one time to figure out the real manufacturer, but at this time I no longer remember. It's setup with 6 Anderson SB50s and a few cigarette style automotive connectors. Running a portable Wifi setup, a Sterling Engine...

    JETBeam Intellicharge i4

I finished a week traveling and camping with this charger. Thought I would post a few observances. There is no data to back these up. 1) This worked great on AW's R123As. No problems here. Free(ish) lumens were nice to have. 2) The charger was run on the 12 VDC cord attached to a deep cycle...

CR123 batteries in series for 12v

Welcome to CPF, D-Train. You can stack (series) CR123A batteries. However, they need to be the *SAME* capacity and charge level. Use all new, same brand, high quality, US made batteries and discard them all at the first sign of low voltage. If you look through the fire threads, you will see...
