Re: Has anyone gotten their HDS Rotary yet?
I canceled my order. Not worth the time to wait. It has been over a month now. I am just going to use my money towards other lights. I was completely excited about this light too, and then after a month, that excitement went away. Funny thing is, I...
Any news on when the new UI will be released? (Probably not, but still checking in, just incase something was mentioned in this massive thread you guys have created! lol)
I carry my backup light (Twisty) on a lanyard connected to my Maxpedition Keyper and my car remote on my left front pocket's belt loop, and on my right front pocket I carry the QAA on 14500 using the stock clip (my main EDC/ mini thrower).
I would switch between the QAA and the Nitecore D10...
Has anyone come out with an aspheric lens for the Ra lights? I would definitely be interested in purchasing one... even if it is not as durable as the stock lens... Or is there an aspheric lens that does exist that would fit the Ra's? Any suggestions would be appreciated... :naughty:

The first 2 pictures illustrate the difference between the narrow (Ra Twisty 85-TR) and the wider beam (Ra Twisty 100W). Regardless if you are looking for Clicky beamshots, these are a spitting image of beam patterns on...
Excellent idea! That was the one thing that bugged the crap out of me is the fact that my clicky could not tailstand without giving me a huge headache... only to tip over and fall. I may actually use it a bit more now knowing this fact! Sweet! Thanks for sharing!
Re: Ra Clicky Executive vs Ra Every Day Carry Executive
Yes. I stand by my opinion. But they are still "Ra/HDS" lights, so regardless of which model you get, you are still getting a high quality light. It just depends how you use your light, and what works for you. :grin2: I plan to get some...
Congrats on the Clicky bud! I just received my Twisty yesterday myself! I slapped a constrictor knot on it as well. I will just switch between the clicky and twisty depending on my mood. I was thinking on doing the double constrictor, and the thought had crossed my mind quite a few times... but...
Re: Ra Clicky Executive vs Ra Every Day Carry Executive
Don't let my words make the decision for you.... It all depends on how you plan to use your light. Hope this link to UniqueTitanium's chart will help you in your decision making:

Re: Ra Clicky Executive vs Ra Every Day Carry Executive
I've had to make this decision as well, and realized... if I am crazy enough to pay this much for a flashlight... I might as well get the total package...
I personally customized mine to my liking, and I do not regret my decision. Yes it...
That's why I always keep paracord on my person... you never know when it can come in handy! I had made some cobra stitched bracelets made of 550 paracord, and also made some little ones for my keychain just to prepare for situations like you had faced *knock on wood*. Atleast you were smart...
And like you had read before, it only works on round surfaces, because it needs to wrap around something that has a smooth, consistent surface for gripping purposes. A square surface leave space between the paracord and the object being gripped. That space made possible by the corners of that...
Do this test Numbers....
Follow the instructions on the "Animated Knot" link dagored provided on the previous page. But instead of tying it on the Ra, tie it around your index finger when it instructs you to insert the object inside the knot before tightening...
Once you tighten the knot...
