    New Surefire LX2

You could just swap the lamp unit from the one that's on the left in the pic to the one you're keeping.

What's your EDC(s) and your uses for it?

As of this moment? I EDC nothing, because I have no light in my hands. I do have 2 on their way though that will be EDC's starting when I get them (one today, the other early next week). 1) Once I get both, I will EDC an E1B Backup and E2DL. The E1B I *expect* to get used more, but the E2DL...

What am I missing with Surefire?

Exactly. I decided to get a quality flashlight about a year ago. I spent a few days looking, and decided "hey I'll stop by the SF dealer omw home and see what they are like". I walked out with a Surefire A2. I never once regretted that decision. That light impressed many friends, and 3 of them...

Best light for you under $100?

Re: Best light under $100? This. Or the Surefire E1B for EDC.

Recommend me a single cell light please...

E1B Backup off the Marketplace (or online) is ~$80-100 I'm a Surefire person though....

My new Surefire E1B Backup (silver color)!!

That would be one option. Better still check the Marketplace here. I just bought a BNIB one for $90 shipped. I've seen them go for as low as $80 shipped on the marketplace. It's lower then even Ebay (and I'd argue safer as well). lovecpf

Looking for a EDC to replace my *lost* A2

Awesome. Thanks for the links! Yeah if I can find a E2DL for ~$100 or so shipped, with the E2DL and E1B I can have 2 lights for about the same price as I paid for my original A2 or buy a U2 for. Two lights>One light (even if it is adjustable with multiple settings lol)

Looking for a EDC to replace my *lost* A2

Just bought a BNIB E1B Backup off the marketplace :) Hopefully it's here by Friday. I may still pick up a E2DL (or a U2A), and carry both daily haha. Damn expensive hobbies :P

Looking for a EDC to replace my *lost* A2

I wil ldefinitely look into the Clicky, because I have seen a lot of positive comments about it lately. The A2L is the light I would really like, but I don't want to wait until June (assuming it doesn't suffer the same fate as the UA2/UB2 last year). So I'm thinking I might just get something...

Looking for a EDC to replace my *lost* A2

I thought I had that in my OP. Guess not. The E2L is one I have thought about as well, but want a different tailcap. I would like to get something higher lumen, on both ends, but I need to find a store that has the U2, E1B, E2DL, L1, L2, and E2L so I can play with them haha. I think that...

Looking for a EDC to replace my *lost* A2

I guess I used the wrong term then. What I meant by "night vision" was not meant the way you want to preserve your night vision for astronomy. I meant using in low/no light areas up close. For example, crawling behind a desk working on a PC to see the labels on the back of the mobo. A...

    ROUNDUP:T10C2,CL1H v4 R2,TK11,TK10,E2DL,M20 R2***NEW OUTDOOR BEAMSHOTS***T1, etc.,etc

I tried sending you a PM The Sun, but for some reason my work pc won't let me. First off, great roundups (this one and the 1 cell)! Secondly, was wondering what you thought of the E2DL's lowbeam and if it is too bright to use to preserve a persons night vision. The E2DL has a wide range...

Looking for a EDC to replace my *lost* A2

TBH if I replace it with another A2, it would most likely be a used one from the marketplace on here. I have seen a few around the $100 mark, so could pick one up fairly cheap. Although more than likely I won't get an incan, because of the lowish runtimes and bulb life. I appriciate the...

Looking for a EDC to replace my *lost* A2

Thanks for all the replies so far!!! I'll look into the Ra Clicky and the Novatac as well. Thanks for the suggestions. I don't mind the *limited* functionality of a non-programmable light. I am very loyal to the Surefire brand from the great experience with the A2 I had. That's why I didn't...

Looking for a EDC to replace my *lost* A2

Thanks for the link in your sig on the "newbie flashlight" link. Gave me something to read for the last little bit :) That's what I was thinking as well, but need to find one to look at in person (well I'd like to at least) before I buy it. What about the U2?

Looking for a EDC to replace my *lost* A2

Jan of 2008, I decided to buy a A2 Aviator on an impulse buy (got a bonus and said why not :P). Didn't regret it one bit. Was the second best purchase I made last year (behind my 50 inch Kuro 5080 of course haha). Well at any rate, my gf and I went to Myrtle Beach for her friends wedding last...
