    I have a Rayovac headlite with a Krypton K4SB-2 bulb, but as dim as this bulb is, I find it hard to believe its a krypton. Is there a brighter screw-in type bulb I can replace this with? I need long bulb life, since I use these for caving, so overdriving is not an option for me. Or better...

    Those with Ravovac Sportsman, try This!

    I've bought three of these Rayovac Sportsman 4AA headlamps, and they all have screw-in Krypton K4SB bulbs that don't seem as bright as other 6V lamps I have. Is the K103 a screw-in bulb? Can this lamp be modified to accept non-screw-in bulbs?
