    looks like a replacement may be in order. i like this charger, but my confidence in Maha is being put to the test here. all my previous Maha chargers have worked perfectly. missing a complete digit in the display is not acceptable

    i posted this new topic because i don't see where it would fit anywhere else. when i first got this charger the display was dark black for each slot when viewing the letters or numbers. currently the #2 slot works just fine, but when cell is "DONE" in that slot, the "DONE" is becoming faint...

    OK, here is another twist......a 4 year old set of powerex 1800's........run through break-in mode yielded a whopping 12-1300 mah's. did 3 discharges/charges at 900mah/1200mah respectively, and they are now showing 1500-1550 mah's capacity.........still not where they should be, but these old...

    Re: my C9000 just killed 2 2500's Bill, they were Powerex 2500's....and yes, the wrappers are now only half of original, totally shrunk up like plastic in a fire..........they along with 5 other sets have checked out fine in the break-in mode. as a matter of fact, all my sets are within 10-20...

    that's it, (and sorry for the rant), but i have had no problems with this charger when using it for Break-in mode or for discharging cells. but yesterday i set it up in cycle mode, set discharge rate at 500mah and charger rate at 1,200 mah..........set it for 4 cycles. just finished but fried 2...

    i think you are right Bill, i didn't really want this charger for just charging batts. so far i have run almost all my cells through the break-in to see where they stand, and this really put a lot of doubts in certain cells to rest. i'll use it for the features that tell me what i need to know...

    Received my Maha C9000 charger today

    i have no complaints whatsoever with this charger. the cells i'm testing right now are acting the same way they did in my 204 and 801, and those i have marked as repeat offenders. tomorrow i will start again with a new set of 2700's..............this is the one thing i like about this charger...
