I'm sure about the warranty. ESEE is famously generous when it comes to warranty coverage. No matter what, if the knife breaks, they'll replace it.

...though for EDC, a light pod plus a huge battery would eliminate the need to carry a 5lb sledge or a short axle shaft or a brick or whatever else you typically use to weight down one of your cargo pockets... simplicity is key here.
An HDS light is smaller than my thumb, and does its thing on a single tiny battery. Malkoffs are bigger and can be a little brighter. All of them are easier to lose than to destroy. It's a pretty damn good time to enjoy flashlights!
2,000 lumens would be annoying for basically everything I ever...
