Muyshondt has really disappointed. I will never buy from him again. Am I wrong here?

That's how the Source engine* has been chugging along for almost 20 years by this point. We'll be fine ;) *: called the "Tower of Duct Tape" for good reason

    One is none

Here's the clip, for reference: EDIT: Just saw that Burgess linked to it in the previous page too.

MagLite Vs The World - Round 2

    Now on my to-watch list.

What is the largest EDC you've ever carried?

That's exactly why I love tube lights. Even for large cell sizes like 21700, they really don't stick out that much. An S2+ basically disappears in my pocket, especially if it's the same pocket as my wallet, as both are about the same length and thickness.

    When is enough, enough?

Since the thread has been revived... I honestly don't know when enough is enough, and if "enough" is ever set in stone. Getting into 21700 lights and the new LEDs (FC40 and 519A are lots of fun) now has me going again, although I definitely slowed down since I started. I don't stretch my...

What is the largest EDC you've ever carried?

Back in early 2014, when I went to uni, I carried a 3D [email protected] in my backpack. Because of my routine (I got to study in the same college I work at) and the layout of the place, I had to walk almost a kilometer from the classrooms and labs to where I parked my car, almost always past 10PM. So it was...

What is the longest you have carried the same EDC light?

The most I ever carried a single primary torch was back when the only thing I had was a Thrunite TN12. Now I rotate my main torches periodically and never carry one for more than, say, a week. Now a secondary minilight (keychain size), I carried a Thrunite Ti3 (XP-G2 sold as "neutral white" but...

Will we produce enough energy again where incans will come back in style?

I doubt it. Rather, I hope we get a new type of light source that matches the quality of incan lighting, be it LED or something newer.

    Incans are ideal for Halloween

I don't own any incans, or old-fashioned torches, but I'm for sure on board with the spirit of it  The great magic about LEDs is you DON'T have to run them full blast. So a 3500K Nicha 519A burning about 20 lumens and absolutely nothing more* is a good addition to the atmosphere... *...

Do you actually use your copper or brass lights ?

No, but only because I don't own any. If I had one I'd use it just like I do my aluminium ones.

    What flashlights have you lost?

That's why two is one and one is none ;)

How did you end up in the flash light hobby?

I always liked flashlights, even as a child. I can credit one specific book by Thomas Brezina: A Mummy Behind the Wheel (literal translation from Portuguese, no idea what's the title in the English localisation) – at one moment one of the heroes uses "a thin flashlight with wide beam", then he...

What did you use your flashlight for today?

The way you're describing it, the movie theater feels like it was almost abandoned. The mental image is really rad.

What did you use your flashlight for today?

Used my Sofirn SP40 last night to troubleshoot my nephew's drag-along schoolbag. One of the wheels was seized and didn't turn properly. After a bit of fiddling, including opening the inner lining of the pockets to get to the frame and finding out the axle is riveted on, I managed to...

What did you use your flashlight for today?

Used my Sofirn SP40 last night to clean up a broken glass door. The tempered glass door of the apartment block beside mine just... exploded, for no discernible reason (bad job at tempering, I suppose). Went down there with a trash shovel and a squeegee (excellent for dragging a large amount of...

Small, inexpensive light with tight beam?

Oh, now I see. Yea, if you need multiple lights, cheap zoomies are the way to go.

Small, inexpensive light with tight beam?

A Convoy T3 with an XP-G2 will set her right. Even better if you can message the store's owner Simon and ask for an Osram flat white emitter (CSLNM1.TG) instead. The throw on the Osram is totally bonkers.

What did you use your flashlight for today?

Over here Bic pens with fine points come with opaque orange reservoirs like these below: That makes it very hard to see the level of ink inside. So I used my Lumintop EDC01 to illuminate the inside of the reservoirs of a few of my pens and check how much I've used them. Turns out I use red a...
