Do your left and right eyes see the same tint?

No, but my eyes are balanced; it's my hemispheres that are unbalanced. Every four to eight years I switch the blame to the other hemisphere. Currently, I blame my left hemisphere.

What did you use your flashlight for today?

The second floor mens' room urinal was clogged. I cut out five feet of vertical ABS drain pipe, and shined my D4V2 W2 in one end of the pipe, to see how much it was clogged. Only a little bit of light came out the other end of the pipe.

Black Friday 2021: what light(s) did you purchase?

EC06. Because Tom E gave it a very nice teardown review. I hope the sample that I receive is also capable of putting out the supra copious quantities of lumens that Tom E’s sample puts out. Best Overall Reflector, Beam-Pattern

For me, 'best' depends on my mood. Sometimes it is single small die emitter in a large reflector. Sometimes, it is single large die emitter in a small reflector. Sometimes it is lots of multiple emitters in a small head diameter, and sometimes it is a small number of reflectors in a large head...

Where do you think we'll top out with this lumen thing?

For me, this lumens thing will top out at three MS18 ganged, one gang in each hand, 600,000 lumens. I can run a large light on low mode for super duper runtime, or I can run a small light on max mode for maximum performance to size ratio, but with low runtime. Or I can run a medium size light...

Flashlights as a Deterrent against wild animals?

Well said, to the point, succinct, and correct, and I agree very much. Force is need to defend against determined attack. "Less than lethal force" is an oxymoron. If it is a physical force, it is potentially lethal. If it is less than lethal, it is not a physical force, or it is woefully...
