    Emisar D4

Excuse my ignorance but, I have two questions about the Emisar lights. First, if I decided to order another light and preferred the cool or bright light, which should I choose?. The one I own now has a yellow/orange tint to it. I prefer cool white. The other question is, why are some priced $18...

If you will reread my post, I said I LIKE the light. My post was to simply inform potential new buyers that the light gets very hot on turbo and cannot be ran that way for long. It was no big deal. Just a simple heads up. I did not expect people to jump down my throat. Once a person learns to...

The reviews on MTN. Electronics may be suspect. I think the are only posting positive reviews and discarding any negative comments. I posted that the Quad 4 gets too hot too fast on turbo. Mtn. Electronics did not post my review. I do like the flashlight but, be aware, it gets hot fast. The...

    Acebeam K70

Bought one a few months back. Have been very pleased with it. Some say they have no need for a thrower but, I have enjoyed the K70 more than any light I own. Everyone should have at least one good thrower. When I can see a person or animal more than two football fields away it pleases me.

looking for advice on small EDC single 18650 LED flashlight

with good throw. I recently bought a Manker U11. It is nice but, I would prefer something with a little more throw. Would the Manker U21 fit the bill, or are there better choices out there. The U11 is nice but, I don`t think it is producing the advertised Lumens. Another question please. I own...

    Manker Quinlan U11

Flashlight reviews would not let me post so I am posting here. A month ago I purchased this light from Gearbest. It took a month to get it. Now, about the light, it is small and light weight using one 18650 battery. It is 4 1/4" long and 4" diameter at the lense. A good EDC light with a good...

    Acebeam K70 throw comparison

Well, before I bought the K70 I had read post where some were saying they had no use for a thrower. Personally, I wanted a light that would reach a long distance. I bought the K70, have used it for about two weeks and love it. So far I have been very impressed with my K70. Also impressed with...

    Acebeam K70 throw comparison

Thanks SAMoongoose. The reason for the cardboard was trying to match/mimic the color of a human face. I`m trying to find the "practical" range of the K70. Seeing a medium size animal, a person, or child at long range is my goal. I have another spot at this same park where I think I can get a...

    Acebeam K70 throw comparison

Did a crude experiment with my K70 last night. I have a public park close to my home that has multiple ball fields on it. Last night, after they turned most of the lights off, I went there to test my Noctigon Meteor and my Acebeam K70. Earlier in the day I had placed a piece of cardboard about...

    Acebeam K70 throw comparison

This thread has been enjoyable. Really like the beam shots and the information everyone is providing. At this point, i`m guessing the practical range for the K70 will be in the neighborhood of 300-400 yards, maybe more. Shinning the light on a child, dog, or deer at those ranges will probably...
