Lumintop Tool Ti (Nichia 219BT, 1xAAA, Titanium) Review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS and more

I'm not sure if it will die on only 2-3 years, but the whole thing makes absolutely no sense. It doesn't solve any problem. Instead of a slow parasitic draw on the battery the whole time it puts a higher draw on the cell for a few days to charge the internal battery then less. Either way it's...

    Niwalker Black Light Vostro BK-FA01 (XM-L2) BK-FA02 (MT-G2) 4x18650 Review: BEAMS+

There's nothing like cherry picking things and taking them out of context to support a flawed argument. Niwalker said it was current regulated. The sample Selfbuilt reviewed previously clearly isn't. You can hand wave all you want and hope to distract from the facts, but their claims aren't...

    Niwalker Black Light Vostro BK-FA01 (XM-L2) BK-FA02 (MT-G2) 4x18650 Review: BEAMS+

    Are you sure it's an 9V MT-G2? There are 6V, 9V, and 36V flavors.

    Niwalker Black Light Vostro BK-FA01 (XM-L2) BK-FA02 (MT-G2) 4x18650 Review: BEAMS+

The BK-FA02 doesn't seem very well regulated. I'm not really sure why they used a 2p2s config instead of a 4s and a nice constant current buck driver.

Fenix LD10/LD20-R4 (XP-G R4) Reviews: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS, COMPARISONS and more!

That's pretty wild. They seem to have used unobtainium in the driver circuit or something. :ooo: I should have known you would have been all over that idea from the start.

Fenix LD10/LD20-R4 (XP-G R4) Reviews: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS, COMPARISONS and more!

Did you try swapping the heads of the LD10 and LD20 to see if the high output and so-so output were consistent between the two heads?

4Sevens Quark Mini CR2 Review: RUNTIMES, PICS, and more!

Uh... That's exactly what you don't want. A hot light means the emitter is efficiently pushing it's heat into the flashlight body.

2xAA Round-up Review: Fenix, Nitecore, Olight, ITP, Eagletac, Jetbeam, Mag ...

FWIW, I measured the current consumption on one of my L2D Q5's and my LD20 Q5 in turbo both with freshly charged Eneloops, and found the LD20's current dropped after turning it on, and the L2D's went up after turning it on. Within about 30 seconds of turning them on the LD20 was using less...

2xAA Round-up Review: Fenix, Nitecore, Olight, ITP, Eagletac, Jetbeam, Mag ...

I found the LD20 to have considerably better throw outside at a distance compared to the L2D Q5 and L2D R100. :ooo: LD20 Q5: L2D Q5: L2D R100: The LD20 addresses my two biggest complaints about the L2D, the outdoor throw and the tendency to roll off tables and other flat surfaces.

REVIEW. MANY REAL BEAMSHOTS: Surefire, Olight, JETBeam, Raidfire, Fenix, Zebralight.

That seems like a pretty significant difference for 45 lumen. The 80 vs 94 lumen med-hi shots are very different too. I don't have my LD20 yet, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.

REVIEW. MANY REAL BEAMSHOTS: Surefire, Olight, JETBeam, Raidfire, Fenix, Zebralight.

If the LD20 and PD20 have same head as each other then the LD20/PD20 may have a significant advantage in throw over the P2D and L2D (based on this review and how much better then PD20 throws than the L2D)

Aspheric Mag Shootout (Beamshots Up) - Mac vs. KD vs. Ledean vs. Mag66 & 625

Re: Aspheric Mag Shootout - Mac vs. KD vs. Ledean The AR coating on the KD lens is probably partially to blame. Light that goes through an AR coating at any angle other than perpendicular will experience a color shift.

Re: Kitchen Bounce Test (Deree Mag Fenix Jetbeam Rexlight LiteFlux & more) *Updated 4 Well, there are fluorescent bulbs with different color temperatures, so I guess it's not too odd.
