    My M91T, don't know which rev it is, likely not the latest, doesn't power at all in an MD2. M61T is a better match for the MD2 overall and runs on full power.

    The low 15 lumen mode is terrible, dim and poor color rendition. The middle mode is acceptable and the high mode is best. Seems like the brighter it becomes, the better color rendition it gets. I will keep it if I can adjust to the low mode.

    I have both and can't figure out which one best reflects reality. Seems neither one does. My MDC cool white is a bit off of course like all cool whites but it's not nasty by any means. The 4000K CRI seems kind of off all also. It paints things a bit too much yellow while the above paints...

    MDC 16650 on 1x123

    Have an MDC 3.4-6V head. It runs well on a 18350 of course. Don't have a 2x123 body but wonder how well it will run on a single 123 primary. I was able to get it to fire on one but wonder at what voltage it cuts off. I also have the MDC 2.3-3.2V head and that should run better than the above...

    What's the highest percentage glass that's all clear and real tempered glass, like in the SF 6P series? The plastic thing that comes with MDx series is very soft, easy to scratch.

    I came to realize I don't like multiple modes in the MDC-AA. When the batteries are low, the modes do not function they way they are supposed to. You only get two modes, the low appears to come on second after high and is barely visible. The 2 modes that are visible appear to be identical...

    I stuck the M61T in MD4 body and indeed, it was much brighter and noticeably destroyed M61 on one cell - or even two cells. I think I just realized I was comparing M61T on one cell with M61 on two cells. And even then they were merely equal, with M61 having the same lux but a large hotspot...

    I am running M61T in MD2 / 18650 and M61, latest-greatest version in an MD3/2x18500. The lux of the latter M61 seems to be equal to lux of M61T. I always thought M61T had a much higher lux. Could it be that the dual cell configuration gives it that much more boost? M61 is very impressive. 470...

    I don't care for the MDC-AA due to its absurd sub-lumen low mode. MDC-2AA is way more useful. Plus easier to hold and greater runtime.     I just ran the test again on L91s. Looks like it does have 3 modes, just that they are all way brighter.     L91s start pretty high, like 1.77V so combined you are looking at 3.5V. The web site specifically lists lithium primary as an option yet they don't generate the low mode and seem to be stuck in one mode.

    I tried 4 different sets of new L91s. None generate low mode. Seems to be only in one mode and it's bright. Tried NiMH and Alkaline - yes to low mode. L91s - no. BTW, discharged L91s generate low mode. As they say, it's not a bug, it's a feature.
