    Indeed, VidPro. To my eyes, the photo shows significant surface scratching especially considering it's only a week of use. (Even though it's significant, I would only still consider it cosmetic :thumbsup:)

    No, most springs leave marks on a battery especially if there is movement in the tube.     Normally, I like using graphite but around electronics you need to exercise caution. Graphite is an electrical conductor. Not super critical when using the Intellicharge but just bear that in mind.

    As mentioned above-- you're much better off getting a multimeter locally. It will be much more functional at the amount of money you are willing to spend. You can always check Craigslist.co.uk for anyone selling a multimeter.
