    I did click buy about 1/2 hr after I posted the question and I did select the one without the battery .. for the sake of $4 it seemed like a bit of a no brainer / I might as well try it and see what it's like ... I do have some decent batteries so will see how it works with those!!!

    Interested to see if anyone's tried the above, seems like a nice small torch, about the same length as the SK98's but slimmer, lower lumens although maybe this site is just more realistic with their output than some of the others ... if it is lower though wonder what sort of burn time it'd give...
