    New McGizmo Owner

Congrats! That's a great first McGizmo!! I got the exact same one for my first (minus the clip...still need to get one of those diamond etched beauties!). But it didn't stop there...a mule followed shortly thereafter, followed by a sundrop, then a Makai. Had a sapphire too for a while...

    Wave of Haiku High CRI

I started with a Haiku, then I added a Mule head and then a Sundrop head so that I could hot-swap for any need that arose. Eventually I had to add a Makai head in case I needed a light saber. You can't beat it for throw and it's just drop dead gorgeous on top of that. When Don came out with...

    LE Storage?

Thanks very much. I also have a flat panel tv housed in a turn of the century armoire. I love the juxtaposition of old and new.

    LE Storage?

I converted this antique French artist's box into McGizmo storage...it's logical, right? I'm sure this was the original intention of the maker of this box back in 1922:

How and where do you carry your McGizmo?

I make sure I always have my Haiku in my messenger bag or backpack. I don't carry it on me physically unless I'm out walking at night and then it's in my hand with my Sundrop or Makai in my pocket as a back up. I rarely leave the house without at least one McGizmo within easy reach.

    Power Outage!

Last week we experienced a power failure in my neighborhood, the power was out from 6pm, just as it was getting dark outside, until 2am. Literally the day before, I received my new AA light from Don - talk about help in the nick of time! The Mule head was immediately employed and that combined...

    Makai or Lightsaber?

Well, truth be told...I've been into lights my whole life. I always loved vintage flashlights - my dad would bring some home from work and I'd acquire them whenever I could. Aside from the Mule, I've held onto these ones for quite a long time: My dad also carried small gentleman's pocket...

    Makai or Lightsaber?

Thank you, much appreciated! I have learned SO much from reading this forum. I never really looked at anything beyond my Maglites. The McGizmos opened up a whole new world for me, as has this forum. I hope to learn even a fraction of what some of the folks here know!

    Makai or Lightsaber?

Hi folks...I'm new to the forum and fairly new to the world of lights, but thankfully I got hooked on McGizmo almost immediately because had I not, I'd have a whole lotta lights to sell right now! Instead, I have a handful of amazing lights that I will never part with (please excuse the iPhone...
