    If 1000 lumen lights aren't sufficient for you, going to 2000 lumen isn't going to help. You'd need to jump to about 6000 lumen for the light to perceptually seem twice as bright (assuming a similar beam pattern). That said, I don't really understand how 1000 lumen lights are inadequate for...

    Why would the warranty cover misuse/abuse? Have you tried cleaning the contacts and letting it dry out really well? If it got soapy water in it you may want to clean it with alcohol.

    The 6 month shelf live was hashed over in the battery / electronics forum. Apparently the clarification is that its some sort of self discharge rating, not the actual life of the battery. However, with that current draw I'd probably steer clear of them as well.

    Unless you really need the super high current, the 26650 LiMiNi 4000mAh at batteryspace is probably a better cell. It's got more power in it and is cheaper.
