    WTB-original Fenix TK30 tail switch

The old TK 12 switch would also work.

    Recommendation for a Fenix Charger

I own several Nitecore and Fenix chargers. The Fenix ARE-D2 is actually quite good if you don't mind a 2 bay charger.

Light Review: Fenix PD 32 V2.0

Thanks for the review, much appreciated. So basically the UI works like on TK09 but with the addition of memory for the last used mode. Or does it default back to Turbo after being switched off?

    New Fenix Lights 2021

Thanks for the photos. How does the UI work if you don't mind us asking? Are the secondary red and white LEDs hidden when cycling through the different brightness levels?

    NEW - FENIX PD32 V2.0 Flashlight

The UI seems to work like the TK09 but with a added strobe and shortcut to high. Definitely an improvement and I like the one-hand operation but it beats me why they couldn't include a "camping" mode with a 2- or even 5-lumen Low level. Fenix were manufacturing lights with multiple modes...

    New Fenix Lights 2021

Yes, I dins that strange too. They probably do that because some are still prototypes and some specs might change by the time they get released but they could put at least the brightness levels for all other lights.

    New Fenix Lights 2021

Fenix has already released their new 2021 catalog in Chinese. I browsed through it to see what's coming in 2021 and these are some of the new lights I could see: PD32 V 2.0: rear-switch operation with no side switch - as already announced - but can't tell if there are only three levels or...

Re: New Fenix Catalog 2021 The new 2021 catalog has already been released in Chinese. https://www.fenixlight.com.cn/uploads/soft/20210112/1610419435.pdf Some of the new lights I could see: PD32 V 2.0: no side switch as already announced PD36 TAC: a PD35 but with the same UI as the TK11 Tac...

    Fenix lanyards

A similar lanyard used to be provided with the TK30 (2009 model). They probably include it as an accessory to larger lights and bundle it with the multicam version because it's special edition.

    NEW - FENIX PD32 V2.0 Flashlight

There's only a youtube video for now so not sure if it is a prototype or a new model about to be released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWJTROk9OSM There seems to be only three brightness levels plus strobe. The Low apparently is 30 lumens which isn't that low but not sure if the specs are...

    New Fenix Catalog 2019

Probably coming out soon! I have a seen a couple of photos around the net so I guess it's about to be released. A couple of new lights were flagged on the German flashlight forum - they are really good at spotting lights before they are even announced. PD32 V2.0: the side switch is gone, the...

NEW - FENIX HM65R ShadowMaster Headlamp

The HL60R really has too many modes. I liked the charging micro-USB capability but very much preferred the 4 modes of the HL55 so stuck to it pretty much the whole time till the HL65R came out.

NEW - FENIX HM65R ShadowMaster Headlamp

You make some good point, it can be difficult to tell which mode you are in and the short click and small switch can lead you to accidentally bump to the next level. However this mode spacing does have benefits. For me the additional 400 lumen level in the SuperRaptor and ShadowMaster is really...

NEW - FENIX HM65R ShadowMaster Headlamp

After taking a closer look I noticed a few more differences. The ShadowMaster features a Luminus SST40 White instead of an XM-L2 U2 LED. The output of most brightness levels are different and the red floodlight of the ShadowMaster has an additional brightness level! Mode SuperRaptor...

NEW - FENIX HM65R ShadowMaster Headlamp

I came across a new version of the HM65R today: it's called ShadowMaster. Judging by the specs it is like a HM65R SuperRaptor but with a red LED instead of the white floodlight LED. And like the HM65R SuperRaptor it seems to be a regional special edition - for the UK this time...

    Fenix HL30 2018, no Li/ion batteries

You must be referring to AA Lithium such as the Energizer L91. I don't think those are Lithium-Ion. The HL35 will actually take 14500 Lithium-ion batteries. Anyway, the Fenix HL35 doesn't work with Energizer L91 AA batteries - as already flagged in most threads for this light. That was the...
