Ok, so the bulb contacts/holder (is there a holder, i can't remember??) can take the heat, just the reflector and lens get replaced for the ROP-Hi mod? Also I'm thinking about using the Phillips 5761 bi-pin, where do I get a ceramic adapter for such an animal and what does it set me back...- Fird

I'm looking for another potential use for my pair of Emoli 1850's, which were given to me by a GREAT CPF'er for use in my CL1HV3 (which I just bought an incan p60 module for just to give it a shot.) They're capable of 20amp discharge! I'd love to really use these cells to more of their...- Fird

Why use incandescent?
There's some regulation in my light that's supposed to prevent that, but you bring up a good point. My problem is that incan failure is a regular part of its normal life, it's expected that every 50-100 hours or so.. the LED module isn't supposed to do that, but your point is perfectly valid, I...- Fird

P60 regulated bulbs?
haha, you could leave the open circuit/overvoltage protection off, and have a short term HID when the bulb goes :-D !! I'm pretty sure a CL1H can handle the heat from an incan bulb, it's probably the best example of heatsinking I own, the whole head (including the pill) stays about the same...- Fird

Why use incandescent?
My incans belong in my lamps, which are connected to outlets, which supply plenty of power most of the time (it's when they don't that my LED lights come out and supplement.) I'd love to have a regulated incan P60 for my CL1H V3.0, I'd buy it if I could find it. :popcorn: but I have one...- Fird

P60 regulated bulbs?
Are their any P60 sized regulated incan modules? I'd love if I could find one that runs off an 18650 for use in my CL1H V3.0!! Surefire A2 type output would be great too, 50 lumens or so, a bit less is acceptable so long as it's regulated. Fird- Fird
