    SURE FIRE UHR

Now you guys know everything that I think I know. I saw the second model designation when I had the UDR for review and asked about it then, which was when I was told about the other light under development. That was 10 months ago and I haven't asked, or heard, anything since. I'm looking...

    SURE FIRE UHR

I don't think it was the Annihilator. The light in question was still under development when the Dominator was released so its model number was listed on the battery pack. I don't know what its status is now.

    SURE FIRE UHR

I wondered how long it would be before someone asked about this. The UDH, if produced, will be more powerful than the UDR.

    Surefire G2X Tactical Question

This one? It works fine with the G2X and any of the other C/D/G/P/Z series flashlights (plus a few others). More pics of the Triad here (mini-review).

    Surefire G2X Tactical Question

Str8stroke speaks the truth, you don't need to buy a spare. They aren't even available for purchase. If for some reason it stops working, you will just send it back to SureFire for warranty repair. Not sure about the strike bezels. I do remember seeing some folks put aftermarket bezels on...

New Malkoff MDC in the works.

Elzetta- The industry's best kept secret.

I had a flashback to the 3rd grade tonight and had some arts and crafts fun with glow in the dark paint and the LE Elzetta Alpha. Somehow it seemed fitting for such a bright yellow flashlight.

Review UPDATED: SureFire Titan AAA Black 15/125 Lumen Warning: Pic Heavy

I think every product has faults when it's subjected to enough scrutiny, all the more so when enthusiasts are doing the scrutinizing  In my opinion, much of what we classify as "faults" or "issues" are instances where a product doesn't meet the expectations of any given person. Of...

New Surefire UDR DOMINATOR loltastic price

I don't recall their names but if you search in the "Custom and Modified Lights" sub-forum I'm sure you can track them down.

Review UPDATED: SureFire Titan AAA Black 15/125 Lumen Warning: Pic Heavy

Yup, it sounds like this light's not for you. Perhaps this thread would be of more interest to you.

New Surefire UDR DOMINATOR loltastic price

I was referring to the M6 made by SureFire but not their battery carrier. There have been aftermarket modders who have made 2x18650 carriers suitable for use in the M6. Essentially the same parts could be used to make a longer version for the Dominator.

New Surefire UDR DOMINATOR loltastic price

I don't have any idea about alternative battery carriers. The tube is the same diameter as an M6/M6LT Guardian so it would seem that anyone who makes carriers for those lights could just make a longer version for the Dominator. I don't think the internal diameter is large enough for 6x18650 so...

New Surefire UDR DOMINATOR loltastic price

It's been a while so I'm going by memory on all of this but Keeppower protected 16650s almost fit in the carrier. They were very close and if I had been willing to push harder, they may have snapped into place but, again, this was a review sample. The metal tabs at one (or maybe both ends)...

New Surefire UDR DOMINATOR loltastic price

The CR123 pack is wired for 12V (actually closer to 13V with no load and fresh batteries). The four batteries in each "leg" are in series and the three "legs" are then wired in parallel. When I had a review sample of the Dominator, I was going to try it with 6x16650s but they were slightly...

    TITAN PLUS

Good move Bill. The Titan-A was all but forgotten in the earlier thread. :twothumbs Great job with the overview and photos Sean

    Help ID'ing Surefire part please

I don't remember that part having a number by itself. I think it was part of the LU60A Incandescent Lamp Module which also included the bezel and P60 lamp assembly. That's definitely an old one you have there. If you're looking for a replacement that doesn't have the hex, you could try the...

Elzetta- The industry's best kept secret.

Yup, they use a different resistor but as far as I know the guts are otherwise the same. I haven't tried swapping them out but I don't see why it couldn't be done. Meanwhile, I had a mail call today! The Cerakote finish is definitely bright! It looks good and seems to be very evenly and...

I had the same thought. I'm pretty sure the tailcaps are the same but I haven't actually tried it yet.

    Question about Surefire Titan Plus

Such is the nature of the ANSI Standard. We're better off with it than without but it definitely has room to improve. That's how it always is with standards but hopefully we will see it get revised one of these days. For my part, I wouldn't object to keeping the testing portion the same as...
