    HDS Systems #23

Man that stinks! 😕 Sounds like a good excuse for another bike ride.

Moderator action is up to Mr. Ed now. He would be the one to reply regarding that question.

Huh? That wasn’t a for sale thread man. The lights don’t even exist, and may never exist. If they ever do they would be sold on the HDS site. So this post makes no sense.

I see some holey heads... want to do some guts swaps for us? LOL

I think the other thing that always made me skeptical is that a huge number of other lights, both cheap production as well as high end and custom also use screwed on clips, and no one has removed their clips so that those who use the light clipless don’t have to see the holes. Oveready, Malkoff...

I see this repeated ad nauseum, but I don’t recall this intense and consistent complaining, having followed HDS and owned at least 10 of them since 2010, during both holey and unholey eras. What I do recall is the fact that every few months for the decade since removing them folks have intensely...

I have no need for a suppressor. Call me when you design a knife. Haha

I would agree. If they aren't busy building lights for lack of parts, there should be plenty of time to answer emails. I remember the days of looong waits for HDS years ago. It was terrible. Then it got wayyyy better and for several years lights and parts have been coming on time and with...

Taking the holes off of a light like the Clicky which had lots of good aftermarket clip solutions and a simple place to install wasn't that huge of a deal. But the Rotary was released with NO clip options which was insane. The Uni clip came out later just to make something that kinda worked. The...

I have been complaining about Rotary clips since Rotaries came out. HDS is one of my favorite flaslight companies but the fact is they could not care less about whether or not we want proper Rotary clips. Removing the screw hole option because five people who didn't use them couldn't look at...

At least when you get it you're not getting crap from China, so there's that.

Thoughts on best clip option for Rotary

My favorite is the Uni clip with ridiculously expensive prototype two way clip. But unfortunately they never made more of these past the one run. The standard Universal is fugly but it works. My second favorite is a Moddoo Ti clip under the bezel with a spacer o-ring.

It’s a head to toe chonk. Lol. This one is going to a new home for that reason. It does throw well. There’s a ton of info in the Fraz Lights thread if you need any more questions answered there. ;)

    HDS Systems #23

I definitely get that. I’ve had a lot of HDS, and I do feel the ones coming out now really are the best ever. The LED options are fantastic, the newer reflectors are great, and the stainless tailcaps are beautiful! You’ll be hard pressed to ding those up. If you ever feel the itch to add a...

I think if your HDS gets that beat up it means you don’t have enough HDS. Gotta spread the love around. [emoji38]
