    Can you guys recommend a low voltage drop-in for running 2xAA? I sold my Malkoff M30WF some years back and still miss that thing. I prefer flood over throw and 4500k is my favorite tint. Runtime would be more important to me than brightness in this particular case. Thanks for any tips!

    My favorite AA format is the ReyLight LAN Ti. I enjoy everything about it, the tint, the low low, the styling, the fact that it can take primaries, eneloops or 14500 cells.     I just picked up a couple Noctigon KR4 lights, they have a newer version of the software than my Emisar D4, D4s and D4v2 and I'm slightly puzzled about the regulation.     My personal favorite is the Reylight Ti LAN with a Nichia emitter. It has a pleasant tint, satisfying rear button and comes on at a sub lumen low and is a great quality piece. Mine has 10 tritium vials installed so it is easy to find on the nightstand.

    It is a tad unfortunate that it is so shrouded in mystery. My guess is that the creator isn't a flashaholic but maybe enough backers will steer him in the right direction.

    A bit of good news on this light, I just read that he is going to release some Nichia versions after the campaign. I'm looking forward to a video he is supposed to drop that will show the function of the light and disassembly.

    That's also my thought. I'd prefer at least a AA. The way my luck usually is, as soon as I get one of these they will drop a AA model at some point!
