    Eneloop Purchasing

First...what are Ladda's 1000's....I'm only fimilar with Ladda 750, 1900, 2450, which are the capacity numbers. I don't remember 1000's..unless those are the ones from China. I see nothing wrong with the Ladda's. I have been using the old white Ladda's...the 2450 and the 900's?? for like 5...

    32650 battery

Not that I'm the all knowing, but since Covid got over???.....Good luck...All the 32650's are gone as far as I know. Sorry.... You might be luckier by going after some 26650's and some sort of adapter to make them fit. In fact there very few decently priced 26650's anymore...but at least you...

    Portable Power Bank Assistance

At turbodog You are absolutely correct about formatting. I actually typed this out in TextEdit for Macintosh & copied it to here. For some reason all the formatting disappeared. I have attempted to correct it. Thanks for pointing this out.

    Portable Power Bank Assistance

kilogulf59, I was surfing around and found a site that made up their own UPS. Not that this is gonna be cheaper, but you can make it any size you want practically. He uses a solar charge controller. He plugs in a 6-8 amp battery charger into the charge controller. The other end of the...

What Are Some Of The Longest Lasting C Size Batteries?

OK, you want the longest life C cell and worried about leakage. I truly don't think you will have any leakage problems with changing out alkalines C Cells every year. And life…If the load is very low, why not just use them. I don't think you can improve without going to a larger battery. I know...

Opinions On 1.5V AA/AAA Lithium Rechargeables

Thanks kilogulf59 for you info. If I would have known that you were to use these in candle type lights I would have said that you aren't going to overload them. I for 1 would like to hear more about your long term use and how they last. Thanks, Bob

Opinions On 1.5V AA/AAA Lithium Rechargeables

Oh Boy...Now I know why you might have been confused....When I stated.....I believe that the AA's are current limited to 2 to 2.5 amp hours and the AAA's are like 1 amp hour. At least that is what I seem to remember. So if your load is larger than that the battery shutsdown due to the protection...

Opinions On 1.5V AA/AAA Lithium Rechargeables

@kilogulf59. You can get an idea of the load current on a battery by using the comparator of HKJ here. https://lygte-info.dk/review/batteries2012/CommonAAcomparator.php On the pull down arrows you can select a lot of his tested AA and AAA batteries and you can put in higher load currents. I...

AA or C-cell NiMH, that is the question...

You are correct that the charge rate for the Panasonic charger would be OK...In fact, from the manual for 2 batteries would be 2550/2 or 1275 mAh. Much higher but still OK for those cells. But then that is only recharging 2 at a time instead of 4. Just remember the charge rates that you and I...

AA or C-cell NiMH, that is the question...

You are welcome. Anytime. From looking at https://eneloop.panasonic.com/en/products/charger-bq-cc55.html for your Panasonic charger, if you using the 1900-2000mAh AA batteries: 1-2 batteries takes 1.5 hours, 3-4 batteries takes 3 hours. If your using the 2400-2550 mAh AA batteries: 1-2 batteries...

AA or C-cell NiMH, that is the question...

First off, I would say that since your radio works with size C batteries, use either Alkaline or NiMH. If you use any NiMH battery. remember to switch the battery switch to NiMH from the Alkaline position. It should automatically compensate for the lower voltage and also recharge them too. And...

Tenergy - How Do They Stack Up?

I have not tried any Tenergy batteries, but last June I purchased a set (quantity 4) of Amazon Basics NIMH Size C's & D's. I did write a review last June on the D's on the Amazon web site. The C's were almost identical except for the capacity. I didn't update the review yet, but I kept 1 cell of...
