    Sorry for the necrobump, but I have a question related to this very subject : is there any difference between series and parallel when it comes to safety ? Is one combination more prone than the other to encountering issues, whether during use on when stored in the flashlight ?

    Incoming - What do you have coming in the mail??

    Convoy T2, Nichia 219C, 4000K. I'm sure it'll be a great light for the price, but I'm having second thoughts about the colour temp. A shame 4500K wasn't available with the Nichia... Maybe I should have chosen the XPG2 4500K option 🤔

    Why no successor of the LF2XT (crowdfunding)?

    Sign me up for this ! I'm in for a more finely programmable AA or AAA. But as said above, the customisation process could be simplified in this day and age.
