    I currently have a p5 which I like, I could do with it a bit brighter, I usually use it on spot to see better, I think its 120lum. The battery lasts for ages, its 1 single aa. I go through about 3 batteries a year and there dead cheap. I don't have it on for long times but turn it on and off...

    I was thinking pd35 as well. Its for emergencies searching fields for animals and needs to dim when I get up close. As for batteries does the cr123 last longer than aa. When not in use which is best and keeps charge?
