Tiablo A9 53mm aspherical upgrade head!

If you guys manage to find someone who wants to ship to Oz count me in. Perhaps 3 of us ordering at once will make it more worthwhile for the sender?

How do I calculate runtime for TerraLUX TLE-300M using 4 D alkalines?

I'm sure there's a plethora of you out there, but can someone please walk me though how one calculates (equation wise) the expected runtime of a TerraLUX TLE-300M using 4 plain old alkalines. Also is it possible for me to use 4 D 12000mah nimh's with theTLE-300Mor will the voltage be too low...

New user question? Tiablo A8 WCQ5

I have had the same thing happen to me with my a8-q5 and it doesn't matter which cells I used it still flickered. I have requested (demanded) a new regulation module and hopefully that will solve the problem. Contact the seller for a replacement/refund.

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

I have actually owned a wiseled tactical. It's an impressive light but not all that practical. It's highest level constantly drops to compensate for heat generation and has to be manually ramped up every other minute. Also its (digital) variable brightness control is very imprecise. I have...

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

Sounds interesting. I've heard the term flupic tossed around this forum and knew it was related to regulation but didnt know the specifics. My whole reason behind starting this thread was to tap into fellow members knowledge in order to collate a list of lights with manual adjustability. Due...

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

If I can't find a edc with knob adjustability (titan *cringe*) I'd definately consider the novatac. Maybe I'll just buy a novatac for the hell of it because its such a fine little light and still continue on with my pursuit for a knob adjustable edc (titan *cringe*) ;)

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

Hmm you're right! From reading a fairly comprehensive review I've come to understand that the 'click click press' function ramps the brightness up and down. 22 levels is pretty damn adjustable in my book so it should go on the list! Thanks for the suggestion. If only it was a liiittttle bit...

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

Nice! Thanks for that - another worthy consideration! Unfortunately its not edc size but still cool. I already have a modded 7438 so I can exchange the tail to get this feature which is awesome. So far the list for lights available with infinite/extreme brightness adjustability is as follows...

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

Aww come on now, don't make a cryptic remark like that and choose to not elaborate further! I can see you are new to this forum so better to stem bad habits at their inception. That isn't how us CPF'ers operate. We are all here to share our passion for light emitting devices and to help one...

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

Mind pointing me in the direction of which Coasts have this feature? I looked but couldn't find any...

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

Cool, thanks. If I cant find a gatlight style 'turn knob' edc I will likely look at this option.

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

Got one on my keychain! :) The problem is, the highest level isn't all that bright, so the feature is sorta redundant by default... haha

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

The gatlight I knew about :) Looking for more reasonably priced alternatives...The Peak light mentioned above, for instance, is half the price of the gat and much better all around gatlight. I have read some stuff on the gatlight and people have had problems with the the metal showing signs of...

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

Hmm indeed it does. I actually know of this light but couldnt bring myself to spend $500+ on a 65 lumens. Thanks for the suggestion though...

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

Wow, that is a very nice light! And I'd never heard of it. A worthy consideration if I can't find anything smaller. Its actually reasonably priced in my opinion ($195). Thanks for the heads up.

Led lights with infinitely variable brightness?

Just wondering which current led lights out there, preferably in the EDC category have a rotating knob that controls the brightness level. I'm pretty sure the gatlight v3 had/has this type of brightness control and whilest I never liked that light, I love the feature itself and want at least...

    Installing a Q5 into a L2D R100 - Increased performance?

Thanks again for your help. Wise words. If the next best thing isn't out until the end of the year that's good enough for me. I just wanted to make sure nothing was right around the corner. As we all know, manufacturers avoid giving lots of warning because they usually want to rid themselves of...
