    ~ Test each one with a volt meter . Any that are lower than 2.5 volts might "Vent with Flames" while being charged . ( I can't remember the actual low-voltage threashhold for being un-safe to charge ... but I use 2.5 v. as a minimum .) The battery experts here can give more details than I . ~

    ~ HI ! busycokos ...... and WELCOME to ya ! I assume this is an LED light ... so yes , that is good for it to do that . It's best that you hold it in your hand , so your hand absorbs some of the heat . It means that it has a good "Heat Sink" that is wicking away some of the heat from the LED ...

    ~ Diffuser material on the lens ..... will help ... a LOT . If rings are really BAD ......... may need Two layers . Look for it sold in the MarketPlace . It's cheap and worth every penny ! You really should try it ......... you WILL be pleased with the improvement . ~
