How many people still use light sticks

Years back when I was scuba diving we would attach them to our BCD's or the top of our scuba tanks when we were doing night dives, especially in the ocean. Everyone was urged to carry a spare flashlight, in case your primary light failed. Having a strobe was also considered a good safety item...

Were you able to remove the bezels easily, w/ damaging the lens or bezel? What kind of tools did you use? ------------------------------ Still looking to buy SC50's or 51's in good condition, neutral tint. PM me if you have one or more for sale. - Luminesce

I placed an order on the ZL web site on the 17th and they shipped yesterday. Other than the insecure transaction, it seems to be working OK. I didn't buy another SC700 this time and perhaps that is the reason for the quick turn around, as some have found it can take quite a while to get your...

Thanks for the link. They have a large selection of magnets so I can easily outfit all my ZL's at one time. Nice info about magnets, how they work, are made, etc...on the web site too.

Hello This_is_nascar. Like the changes. The magnet would be the most useful for me. I have bought a variety of neodymium magnets from All Electronics (which I've dealt with for decades) in the past and they do their job well, very hard to remove if layed flat on a metal surface. But none of...

Re: The Official Zebralight Thread I may be wrong in my understanding of CPF posting rules but I thought that they do not want us to Double or Cross Post links to other CPF posts. Didn't think about posting the link to youtube. Since no one has mentioned it yet, even though the 1st video may...

Just watched the video of post #311 for the "Re: Fraz Labs Mechanical Flashlights thread...". I'm sure others have "abused" their lights by accident but the video shows taking abuse too a whole new level, enjoy!

Hi GPS Rider, based on my recent experience with ZL, I believe the model you order makes all the difference in how fast it's shipped. My 1st SC700DF shipped a day after I ordered it last month. After seeing how well I liked it, I then decided to also order the SC700D along with some other items...

Since it's only on one mode I would think it's not the LED itself. That leaves the software side as the suspect. I'd be concerned that it could popup on other modes (probably unlikely) and ask for a replacement under manufacturer's warranty or seller's return policy to avoid dealing with a...

    WTB: Zebralight SC50 or SC51

Looking for a 50 or 51 in good condition, neutral tint. Have a 50 now but would like to have an additional one as a backup in case the one I have dies, is lost. PM me, may take a day or so to get back to you but I will respond, thanks.

Re: The Official Zebralight Thread Thanks 4 the reply. I was afraid you'd say what you said, when you said what you said. I see the breaking of the glass as a real problem I'd prefer to avoid. Don't need to get inside that badly, just curious. Rules are rules, cross post and all. It ain't our...

id30209: How did you remove the bezel ring and lens on your SC600Fc? In the 1st photo the ring on your 600 looks to be sticking out a tad above the head of the light vs my SC700Fd which is flush if not a tiny bit recessed.

I've been looking for a way to carry a SC700F on my belt. The 1.5 inch head could make some of the knife holsters a tough fit as I've found many show a 1.5x1" ID. Looked at light holsters like the Lumintop FW21 Pro Nylon Holster and many others but still not finding what I'd prefer. Don't want a...

Dedicated bike light or modify EDC for bike?

LeanBurn, my initial searches for bike lights found many posts on the general light forum but your comment about the bike forum might garner more responses so I contacted admin and asked to move the post there. Hopefully the EDC folks will see it too as I see many have used EDC's on there bikes...

Dedicated bike light or modify EDC for bike?

I've been researching bike light posts on CPF as I do occasionally ride at night, mostly on well lit residential streets but also travel the more trafficked main streets. There are plenty of posts but most of the posts that I've found so far are 2018 or older. I also have found the CPF Bike...

    GITD O-Rings - Haiku

It's an old thread but if anyone finds it, here's some info that may help. I too used Lighthound to purchase o-rings 10 yrs ago. I have looked for a new source and have found a few but this one stands out (if they are reputable, haven't bought from them yet), fasttech.com. They have...

Looking for a Diffuser filter to fit GX30A3, GX25A3

In case anyone needs a diffuser for the lights I mentioned above, I think I have one more option that can help you. I looked through a ton of archived CPF posts on my home computer and found this bit of info posted by Selfbuilt in his thread "UPDATE JANUARY 8, 2015", 4XAA Round-Up Review...

Looking for a Diffuser filter to fit GX30A3, GX25A3

I've been using an Olight M21 diffuser filter on the Eagtac GX30A3 and it fits snug. Also have a GX25A3 with an M22 diffuser on it but that required a few wraps of painters tape on the bezel to get the filter to fit snuggly. The lens on a prior M21 diffuser filter I had broke and I replaced it...
