    take a dremel and bur and carve out a notch just below the bezel so you can get a lever tool in there and pop off the bezel.It does mar the light but if you are careful you can make it look good.

    Mules always have issues around the outside edge of the beam. Sometimes it is the pedals that form around the beam or lack of beam focus gives a washed out look on low power. I have imagined a outer optic that could reflect misguided light around the edge out the front. I am lacking the skills...
