    SkyRC — IFA 2014 — MC3000 charger-analyzer

Hello everybody, Have been warned by the MC3000 app to upgrade the firmware of my charger. Doing so I realized on SkyRC website that our CandlePowered' CheatSheets are available for download there... apart from the french translation I humbly provided, based on the tremendous work from WWJD...

    Zebralight SC700d 21700 XHP70.2 90+CRI

Do we have any hints on the probable runtimes of this light ?

    High Drain D Cell

I also wonder where we can find tests/comparisons of D NiMh cells? I can't find any discharge curve.

    Review: Convoy L6 (XHP-70, 2x26650)

I know, but trying to match conveniency of use and decent output result. I intend to offer it and trying to see if I can avoid to deliver a "Li-Ion cell 101" training with it :)

    Big all-around "Dad" light

Here is an illustration of the current flashlight I took for you guys. No beamshot, but it really looks like a candle, no kidding. Thanks for all your propositions! @ven @bykfixe: One slight update, I'm based in Europe. Therefore any Maglite is generally overpriced. For instance an ML300...

    Review: Convoy L6 (XHP-70, 2x26650)

That's the answer I was afraid of. And as it is 26650 based, and not 32650, there's no way of using any AA adapters. Maybe AAA (10440?) adapters? And is there an extension tube for the L6, if someone would like to use 3 or 4x26650 ?

    Big all-around "Dad" light

Hello, My dad would like to upgrade his current light. He has an old big 4D bulb flashlight, "Philips" branded and would like a similar sized lamp. He knows the type of power we can now get of small lights, but is more comfortable with big one (more easy to find for instance). So here is the...

    Review: Convoy L6 (XHP-70, 2x26650)

It might seem like a silly question, but how would the L6 react if feeded by NiMh C cells?

charging NiMH gumstick batts with AA charger?

Bringing back from the dead :poke: this thread, I hold a question on those gumstick NiMh, Vapex NH-14WM flavors. I just found back 2 sticks I had forgotten and I have patiently cycled them on very low currents. Now they are back from the dead :dedhorse: (as this thread), is there any reason to...

Best Bike Rear Light for about $10?

It seems no primary batteries are included in this offer. Other difference the bracket is horizontal. Anyway I can't promise you this one is perfect (I have no experience with this seller). However, I have 3 different versions of this light: the "original" Smart Lunar R2 bought 21€ a "LE"...

Best Bike Rear Light for about $10?

The one rear light I'm using since 2011 is the Smart Lunar R2. Enoughly bright for even day usage, great side visibility, a specific "strobe" mode (called disco or whatever) that avoids repetitive patterns and enables to really catch attention of other road users (the only mode I'm using...

    For downhill mountain biking

Fenix seems really nice, but IMHO fells off because of their "bike only" focus. Whereas Zebras, or other multipurpose flashlights are... multipurposed. Considering the difference in weight from my old setup and a Zebra based setup, I'm thinking of adding more lights than before. I'm wondering...

    Bike light for flashaholic-in-training?

I've seen Exposure mounts available on ChainReactionCycle, sigmasport.co.uk & various ebay dealers. Sometimes at "reasonable" prices (as in not totally a robbery for magisterial molded plastic...). Could you list the mounts you have ordered? I'm interested to see your "shopping cart" before...

    The Official Zebralight Thread .

I'm not familiar with the Zebra waiting game. How does it turn for reviews? Will some selected reviewers be able to put their hands on some early products? Or do we usually have to wait another few weeks after initial shipments to get reviews?

    Emisar D4

Thanks for all your replies guys! Is the D1 more able to maintain a specific level than the D4? A Zebralight, while definitively more costly, could be a better choice for constant light output rather than an Emisar?

    Emisar D4

I'm searching runtime charts for the D4 but can't find any one "useful to my purpose". I'm seeking to replace my helmet flashlight for mountain/road biking (currently a 6 years old modded Ultrafire C2 that maintains 400+ lumens for ~45min) and I try to see if the D4 could fit the purpose (I...

    SkyRC — IFA 2014 — MC3000 charger-analyzer

Re: MC3000 settings charging NiMh AA, Eneloop & Tenergy Have someone tried to charge rechargeable coin cells, such as LIR2032, with the MC3000? Lowest setable charge current being 50mA, this is close to a 1C charge on those cells. Looks roughly adequate on first sight. EDIT: after some...
