I can't find a headlamp like this anywhere, does it exist?

ಠ_ಠ There are dozens of us, literally dozens.... Yeah, tell me about it. Selecting that option was more of not wanting to leave that option out for the off chance than anything else. None of those even came close to what I'm after. I'm pretty definite on flood, dimmable, ability to start in...

I can't find a headlamp like this anywhere, does it exist?

It has an infinitely variable switch, exactly what I was after. Wrong type of batteries though, far too big. That's a killer for me but the only thing wrong with it. Thanks though :)

I can't find a headlamp like this anywhere, does it exist?

I'm looking for my main go-to/EDC headlamp and I can't find this type anywhere. I was hoping someone here could help. I'll also use it for reading, blackouts, camping and walking in the dark and I only really need flood as I'll have a flashlight for throw. I really need an infinitely variable...

I can't decide on an AAA and AA charger for my Eneloops. Can you help?

Yep, that's exactly what I was after! Looks like I just bought my backup first then. I'll pick this up when the next payday rolls around. Thank you!

I can't decide on an AAA and AA charger for my Eneloops. Can you help?

It's all good. The differences aren't enough to justify +~$30 for the BC-1000 given what I'm after. I appreciate it nonetheless :)

I can't decide on an AAA and AA charger for my Eneloops. Can you help?

Oops, I actually misread that :/ Sorry. None of that would be an issue for me I think. I would have the charger in the study away from our bedroom and charging would most likely be over night and then while at work. This however, bothers me a little. We don't have power cuts but that's not...

I can't decide on an AAA and AA charger for my Eneloops. Can you help?

To be honest, I've very tempted to buy them both after reading what everyone has said. I too like backups and am having a lot of trouble deciding on which one to get. I'm curious though, you listed a few things about the BC-900 you didn't like. Is there anything about the MH-C9000 you don't...

I can't decide on an AAA and AA charger for my Eneloops. Can you help?

Heh, I did see that one but it's a little bit more than I wanted to spend. That's an issue I've read about with the La Crosse BC-900 too. I'm in Australia so with where I can buy it and the cost of shipping, they work out almost the same price. ~$7 different if I recall correctly.

I can't decide on an AAA and AA charger for my Eneloops. Can you help?

I have pretty much all Eneloops and I need to replace the charger that came with one of the packs. I don't need much in the way of features. Just an ability to properly charge the batteries, a test/analyze mode and a maintenance/recondition feature. I'd like the slots to charge independently...

1AAA Keychain Clicky? Something to replace an A3...

+1 for the Tank007 TK-703. I have a few Tank007 TKs and love them. The TK-701 is exactly the same light but a little more floody if that the way you want to head.

Mum needs a light, this has been an effort.

I will do, not sure when but within 4 or 5 weeks I hope. The Nitecore Infilux IFD2 should be good I think. Lol, Marshall does great reviews. Lol, kinda the light I'm trying to steer away from but I love your enthusiasm. Thanks anyway.

Mum needs a light, this has been an effort.

It looks the same as V20C, I'll need to do a comparison again so not sure what you'd call it but I like it a lot. Colours look natural and everything is lit very well. This will give you an idea ;) Given she wants AA's, that won't work. That's too big for her, it'll most likely be awkward and...

Mum needs a light, this has been an effort.

That was my fault, I wasn't very clear with meaning longer is better. I wan't the V20A R5 but can only seem to find the T6 :( After looking at the beam profile, I've decided on the Nitecore Infilux IFD2. It's only ~$20 than the V20A so I'm pretty happy. The Niteye EYE12 just seemed too floody...

Mum needs a light, this has been an effort.

Lol, the V10A is too short for her. She needs something longer. While I agree with you on the 210lm being more than enough for the house, the yard is huge and I want it to be bright in case something happens out the front. She will be taking it when she goes away too. ~200lm is something I'll be...

Mum needs a light, this has been an effort.

Oh I definitely did but the problem is I can't find the R5 anywhere, just the T6 that's only 160lm where the R5 is 210lm. The V10A isn't an option unfortunately as it's only 140lm. Compactness is actually an issue here, the 2xAA size is perfect for her use habits and intended uses. A 52 year old...

Mum needs a light, this has been an effort.

I know it has a tail switch but it's still a twisty. No infinity variable output is not an option. Two modes is kind of stepping backwards with this one too but thanks anyway.

Mum needs a light, this has been an effort.

Yeah, she'll be using it as a primary light so it will need to have a broad variable output. NiteCore Infilux IFD2 - Perfect. It covers everything she'll need and IPX-8 which I forgot to mention. (It's my Mum, price< safety/reliability/usability/simplicity) Niteye EYE12 - As above, perfect as...

Thanks for the reply but unfortunately all the ones you mentioned, while having a tail switch, are twisties. No variable ring, no dice :( As for undoing the head, my Mum isn't that bad. She likes the variable ring on my V20C a lot but just wants AA's.

Mum needs a light, this has been an effort.

The back story: Mum has a whole bunch of cheap, crappy A, C and D incandescent flashlights around the place. It's a joke and I needed to do something about it. I rounded them all up and binned them but put one of mine on the table at the front door, just in case. I went home and started looking...

I want a new light, I would love some help with picking one. Check list done! :D

I am :( It sucks too, I just dropped a bunch of cash on the Niteye TF25 and Fenic TK21. This is getting more costly than I expected :P Paired up with my Sunwayman V20C, I think I have a good mix. I just hope I don't buy any more... :/ Well, after more batteries and a new holster for the Niteye...
