I wouldn't open it. I know what they look like and there's plenty of pictures out there. I have several E2e-CJ's, and one remains sealed that I don't plan on ever opening. I probably have the only sealed one still out there unless anyone knows of one.

Those are usually fairly blue. Two li-ions shouldn't matter, they can usually handle up to 12 volts with their buck converter. Nothing wrong with running one on a three cell body.

Old stock as in these formerly USA made knives haven't been made in "Carbon V" steel for a very long time and the OSS has been sitting in its box unused since new. Never been sharpened or cut anything. No finish missing from the blade either. Holster is the factory original in new condition...
