Suggestions on how to improve Armytek Flashlights:

    Wizard / Wizard Pro. Multi-flashlights.

I understand from another post on CPF that the latest Wizards now have a quick release bracket, instead of the silicone rubber holder. I looked on the Armytek website for a photo of the new bracket/holder/cradle but could not find a photo. Anyone have a link?

Prime / Prime Pro. Every Day Carry Lights.

Cleaned all the contact surfaces and treated with De-oxit, and charged the battery. Still get the LED flicker from mild mechanical shock on the tail. The irony is this Prime Pro was a warranty replacement 10 months ago for a Prime Pro that would completely shut down from a very mild impact. I...

Prime / Prime Pro. Every Day Carry Lights.

I have the same flashlight and agree with your observations. I solved the loose clip problem be inserting the lanyard ring as a spacer. My sample has begun to experience main LED flicker when the flashlight is set on a solid surface tail down. Set it down when in the higher output modes with...

After 3 months of use, the electronic gremlins have shown up. A light impact on the base or head will will make the lamp flicker once. :sigh:

    XHP35 Lights??

Good question. In real world use, will a XHP35 Hi outperform the XP-L Hi? This thread discusses it a bit, but still left me wondering: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?420238-Almost-too-much-choice-within-Cree-now! Armytek will have to design a new driver for the 11.3V...

    Wizard / Wizard Pro. Multi-flashlights.

I recently received my Wizard Pro V3 XP-L. The owner's manual was included in the box, but was for a V2 XM-L2. According to the manual, V2 included "voltage indication" in the Special Modes group, along with strobe and beacon. In my V3, "voltage indication" is no longer available as a special...

    "Pre-Release" Lights Discussion

Re: Prime / Prime Pro. Every Day Carry Lights. I have bought clothing from LL Bean, and am familiar with their pricing. I don't want to pay LL Bean prices for a flashlight. $160 for a Wizard Pro? No thanks.
