Tactical light with advanced charging features

My ideal light would be something like a surefire stiletto but with a USB-c charging port that supports 2-way fast charging, meaning I can use it as a small emergency power bank or recharge it from my phone. For some reason most light still use micro usb or if they do have USB-c, it's a dumb port.

New cyclist looking for a budget friendly front and rear light

An actual headlight is fine. If I really get into this it may be appreciated as the days get shorter, I just want to make sure it has a flashing/strobe feature for daytime visibility as not getting flattened by a truck is my current priority

New cyclist looking for a budget friendly front and rear light

New to cycling. I Inherited an 8yo Trek 7100 that came with similarly aged bontrager front and rear lights. The guys at the Trek store were quite helpful in making sure the bike was road ready, providing maintenance tips and recommended upgrading the lights for better visibility on the road...

I'm looking for something VERY simple: non, clicky tailcap.

Are the newer models available with single mode? If not, how is the switching accomplished?

I'm looking for something VERY simple: non, clicky tailcap.

I'm looking for no click on whatsoever. Momentary only. If there is a constant on it needs to be a distinctly different mode of activation. I think the eiger posted above is really fitting the bill.

I'm looking for something VERY simple: non, clicky tailcap.

Do they still make a high output only version? Regardless, ease of getting full output with the tailcap is of prime importance. If i need light fast, i need all the light. Lower output, im fine futzing with the head. This actually seems precisely like what im looking for. Who makes a rugged...

That actually looks pretty interesting...is the ramp-up momentary like the surefire 2-stage tactical switch in operation?

That fits precisely NONE of the things i'm looking for. Are you trying to unload a bunch of these or just waste my time?

I'm looking for something VERY simple: non, clicky tailcap.

I carry an eb2 right now and i like the 2 stage button. The size wasn't an issue until i went shopping for new jeans. Current styles are a bit slimmer fit than they used to be. My major issue with surefire is they keep cheaping out on their machining. 15yrs ago i had a 6p with a nice checkered...

I'm looking for something VERY simple: non, clicky tailcap.

I would really like a slim body light with a the aforementioned single output and momentary only switch, but it seems the industry trend is for increasing complexity. Finding something without 18 brightness and 6 strobe settings is getting to be a chore.

Noise isn't really the issue. I just don't like a cap that can stick in the on position. Elzetta is too chunky.

The 6P was made in 1988...what sort of patent lasts that long? Elzetta makes lights with a press momentary twist on cap, but they don't make anything particularly slim.

I'm looking for something VERY simple: non, clicky tailcap.

Does anyone but surefire make a light with anon-clicky tailcap. All i want is press on, release off, twist for constant, one setting in a slim-profile light. That's it.

Looking for the Brightest Handgun Mounted Light

They are better than the strobe model. Most issues i see with the TLR1 are with the electronics taking a dump on the strobe model and the light randomly switching setting and turning off while in use.

    Brightest Handgun Mounted Light

I teach defensive firearms courses where we put more rounds through the gun in a day than most people do in a year. All of our classes have low light. I've seen a number of TLR1's break (mainly issues with the electronics, lights shutting off, randomly switching in and out of strobe mode) and...

Looking for the Brightest Handgun Mounted Light

Try illuminating around cover/concealment with a light that has a big bright side spill. You bounce the light off the cover, blinding yourself to what is beyond it and illuminating yourself with the splashback. The splash of the light off the walls with even a tightly focused beam like most...

    Brightest Handgun Mounted Light

MSRP is $275. It's not difficult to find them new for less than $200 Buy once, cry once. Buy crap, cry a million times.

Looking for the Brightest Handgun Mounted Light

Excessive sidespill is not desirable in a weapon mounted light, neither is that sort of output. The current x300 will easily allow you to illuminate and identify threats at any reasonable distance you would use a handgun.
