    Just swapped the defective unit for a new one and it works just fine. Tossed it in the freezer for a couple hours to see how it handled the cold:)

    Home Depot Closeout Lights

    Some Lowes stores have the Utilitech 3C on clearance for $7.50. Nice torch that seems to have better build quality then any of my Defiant lights. There's also a 9AA 1000 lumen triple for $10.00 but i didn't care for it.

    Thorfire C-8. Pretty inexpensive and I think they can take 123's and 18650's.

    Big reason why I went for the Convoy was the warmer tints available. Love the 4C tint of my Convoy C8's!!!!!

    I got a couple fake red ones from Gearbest back in August but they did eventually send me two real ones. Fantastic lights and I absolutely love the 4C tint. I also grabbed a C8 from them with the same tint.

    I just got the C-8 and it's really really nice!!! I went for the XML T6 4C and love the warmer tint. Think I paid around $14.00 for it.

    Love the idea of a single 18650 flashlight and charger combo!!!! Nice that you can just pop in a spare 18650 when she starts to die. So all my micro USB phone chargers will NOT work with this????

    Pretty sure the red s2+ from Gearbest is a fake but it's a really nice fake. It's got a beautiful warm tint and really cranks out the lumens on high. I ended up ordering two more!!!!

    Maratac AAA pocket clip (need stronger)

    Has anyone ever found a nice strong pocket clip for the Maratac AAA lights? I like to clip mine to a ball cap for headlight duty and the stock clip ain't happening.

    Well this makes 3 fakes I have gotten in the last month. I'm pretty happy with the fake S2+ and don't mind that I have two more on the way. The two fake Hugsby XP-1's I got are pretty bad but I can give them away to my enemies!!!! So now the Chinese are making fakes of their own flashlights???:)

    Thanks G, The one I received has an alloy retaining ring so it might be a fake. Quality feels pretty good and the light functions fine so far. Kinda wish I didn't have two more on the way from Gearbest if these are fakes!!!!

    I know most on here preach that vehicle lights are not decorations but, for the life of me, I can't figure out what the led light bars on the front of my 2011 Ford Edge are for!!!!
