I'd get a box of 50 Battery Stations for $60. That is $10 over budget, but with no sales tax, no shipping charge, and no shopping trip, it would make it come out about even.
You might have gotten a very good deal. The scrapyards get lots of things from people who don't know anything about what they are selling, other than what metal it is. You might post it some Art forums to see if somebody knows what it is.
I got the Sennheiser PX200 headphones instead of the PX100. They are exactly the same, except they are closed instead of open. They even come with the same fold up case. My gym plays music that would leak in with open headphones. I did not like them very much when I first got them because they...
Hats off to MrGman and WBP for doing so much fantastic work on this thread. It is great to get these measurements from trusted sources. I think one reason the A10 and a few other lights have not gotten as much interest as I think they deserve is that people don't believe the super high lux...
Surefire is great at what they do, in fact they are probably the best. When it comes to dive lights, or lights for firefighters, or lights that use AA batteries Pelican or Streamlight may be better. Some people are required to use equipment with certain certifications. This might rule out a...
Re: Has anyone got the new surefire catalog yet Mine came yesterday. They are awesome. Both have great pictures and descriptions of the new lights. :twothumbs
I think EagleTac will be the next big brand. They make rapid improvements to lights. It does not take long for them to incorporate suggestions into designs. I like that they don't reinvent the wheel every time they come out with a new model. Rather than redesigning everything, they keep the...
I think the Photon Freedom light is legitimately "Made in the USA" . That is how it is marked. Somebody else might question its Nicha LED. Depending on who you ask "All or virtually all" could be 99.99%, 95%, or less. How those percentages are measured could also be debated.
Welcome to CPF. :welcome: Check out this review from 2006. It is of the LRI Proton, which seems to be a more advanced version of the flashlight in the patent you linked. The idea is so old, it is new again. Take a look at the Inova Inforce LED if you want to see one of newest and most advanced.
Lots of people who have never been interested in politics before are going to get political. They are are going to want to get revenge on the the politicians who broke their TV.
