Trust me, there will be a real/full investigation into this.

    Worse flashlight feature by far

I agree that proprietary batteries are the worst Followed by an SOS mode I can find a use for a strobe mode (signaling), as I've used it many times, but the SOS mode is just plain stupid IMO

At the movies-do you eat popcorn

I can't even imagine going to a movie theater and not getting the BIGGEST tub of buttered popcorn available! Of course, I rarely get to a movie theatre anymore...............

    Flood Lens

LOL, little did I know (at the time) how much I would like them! ;) I do need to put together a Malkoff order, as it's been a couple of years.

    Flood Lens

My Malkoff Floods are of the M60LF variety I wanted them to be useful for longer time periods Unfortunately, I only have about 5 of them

what was the first led flashlight you owned?

I believe my first LED flashlight was an Inova X5 At the time, I couldn't believe the run time it got! It was a real "game changer", as I carried one, along with a SF 6P.

    Show your nightstand flashlight!

LOL Please remind me on the use of your SF A2, and how long you've had it, and how you've used it? What is your history/use of other "gas peddle" tailcap Sure Fires? I suggest you re-read my posts, and how long I've had mine, and actually use them, and use them hard. I am very well aware of...

    Show your nightstand flashlight!

Oh, I see. I have actually use/d the L2, EDCL1-T, and EDCL2-T for work, without any problems with the tailcaps, ever, with multiples of each. My first L2 use was in approx. 2005 or 2006, when I found they worked very well for me. Another L2 soon became a nightstand light for me. Thanks for...

    Show your nightstand flashlight!

That is how I utilize mine also. On scene/etc., if needed, I rotate to constant on “low-level”, and simply smash it hard (in situations that is needed, that is what will likely happen naturally). I guess I’ve been lucky, as I’ve not had such problems with my tail cap/switches. Any...

    Show your nightstand flashlight!

Not a bad choice at all. While I understand your logic (I have no use for "multiple mode clickies" for such situations) , and generally agree with it, there are exceptions to that rule/logic (at least for me). The exception (for me) is a flashlight such as the SureFire EDCL1/2-T with the "gas...

    Surefire 3P upgrade

Malkoff M31LL is what I’d use.

    Show your nightstand flashlight!

The white is a single level, @ 105 lmns I find the .5 lmns, NV Red, is generally not enough to maneuver, at least for me. I use it almost exclusively for the Red LEDS, yet has a decent white “back-up” light immediately available. I have a few of these, as I always carry one in my travel bag...

    Show your nightstand flashlight!

My 2 night stand lights. EDCL2-T for “bumps in the night”. Streamlight Night Com that I keep in HI LED (Red) mode for getting around in dark/low light conditions.

    Best AA edc flashlight?

I'm a fan of the StreamLight 1L-1AA myself, as it allows me to use either a CR123 or a AA, and will reliably (at least the 3 of mine) use a AAA in a pinch. I can't think of a EDC light that's more of a true "Dual Fuel" (really a Triple Fuel IMO).

Master thread for disasters and generators.

That’s a great plan, for you. What if you’re not home? What if the homeowners/residents are incapable of setting up a portable generator and running cords, etc.? My 80 y/o MIL isn’t doing that, if I’m not home. I think what people miss, and where many misunderstanding occur, is from folks...

I’m all for having a back-up plan for my generator, and have been looking for a propane adapter to have, just in case. My area is NOT in a routine earthquake zone (but certainly could happen), so my ”Plan A” is running my generator on NG, as it is MUCH cheaper to run. As to running whole...

I'm sure if you tell everyone about YOUR Generac whole house system that failed, folks would take your post much more seriously, otherwise..... So help me out again, what brand is YOUR whole house generator?
