    Have a couple new powerful and very portable searchlights, (relatively easy) love to bring to a get together) One of the lights needs about 3,000 watts and the other about 1,300 watts. Barn sure nice place. If it has to happen during Spring 2020 so be it.

    Have some fun toys I've been making, such as the 1,000 watt high pressure short arc Xenon, 8 inch Cyclops, using all kinds of components..! It's three feet long with all the equipment needed. Test have it making a nice, laser looking beam...bright and thin. Also several 24 inch LightSward...

    Have made three 24 inch LightSwards, Two out of Aluminum making nice smooth reflectors. Pretty much beat the 1000 watt XENON in Brightness and distance visible by 1,200 watt HID 24 inch LightSward by a factor of three. Could barely see the Xenon Pro light, yet easily see homemade one after...

    Actually not too bad an idea. Main problem with satellite antennas is the focal point is often far enough away that you will only grab about 30 percent or so of the light from the bulb unless you yes LED which tends to send much of it's light forward, yet still much of the light will be wasted...

    Amazing how easy, portable and brilliant this light has turned out to be. Didn't realize, with all the errors in the reflector, I'd get a fairly tight beam. Seems to be visible on clear nights up to five miles against the light pollution of our city. Making refinements on other "LightSward"...

    Just placed an order for some. Hope this works and doesn't get too hot from my lamps. Use a cooling system to cool everything near the bulb, so hopefully this will be what I've been looking for. Thanks for the info. Fingers crossed.

    Looks good. Wonder how it behaves on concave surfaces...usually convex curves common on vehicles work well, yet concave can be challenging to keep wrinkles out. Will look into this...thank you.

    Vinyl wrap, not sure I know about that..? Been using various forms of metalized Mylar for the reflectors.     THE LIGHTSWARD IS BACK..!!! Resurrected the LightSward from the storage heap and am making significant improvements. Mainly it's getting the dreamed about 1,200 watt small arc HID discharge bulb with 100,000 lumen output..! Stopped using the LightSward because of it's hard focusing...

It's "open flame" because to make it weather resistant and normal like a light normally is, would require additional housing size increases that makes it impossible to go back there. I've done...

    38 inch Interrogator

    Yes. Have made the "Back Seat Version" of this powerful light. It's "open flame" right now, as all the shielding and weather protection makes it too large to fit inside my sedan now. Makes almost as nice a beam as the 50 inch Monster. Need to get pictures.
