    Is that one the shotshow edition lights? The burgess finish has a frosted look. It kinda looks like it has a coating on it. Do you think it'll patina like copper?

    Thx, this very helpful. It looks to me the Nichia w/ Ledil reflector has a smaller hotspot and spill due to it being a smaller LED. How does the Alpha Nichia compare to a Delta w/ narrow optics? Does the Alpha219 have more spill than a Delta w/ narrow optics?

    Do you have an alpha with a Led footprint like the 219/319? How does the beam pattern compared to the beta? Does the boom reflector give it a wide spill than the small reflector in the beta?

    I don't think those that did preorder have to wait any longer to ship if he ships in the order people ordered. He didn't promise a specific date. He will ship it when he recieve the lights from Maufaucturer. He said a couple of weeks in Nov.

    It will work with the Flex arm no problem. The QR end has a magnet in it and the beta body end has switch that turns the light on when dettached from the QR. It stay on unless you twist the head off like the regular beta. THe head on the Mule also doesn't have the grooves like the beta classic.

    I think it's better if you email him. There's a magnet on the bass QR once you disengage it the light turns on. The question is can the light be turn off if you use the clip? I'm guessing you can turn it off with a twist like the beta.
