I live by few rules in life but one of them is take responsibility for what you do. He did this to himself by being deceitfull. There are consequences for everything you do in life. It is sad that we do not live in a perfect world where everyone can own all the same lights, even if they cost $1000. Some of the banter is not needed but I feel like everyone should have a chance to say something in regards to what has come to light.

I only mean this in the best way but I do hope it was something so severe that made him do this and not him just trying to deceive everyone.

Sometimes we do things because we are backed into a corner but again, you have to take responsibilty for what happens after that. I can respect a man who steals food to feed his family and when caught takes his lumps. I cannot respect a man who steals just to do it.

Does anyone know if there is enough metal in an aluminum PEU Pineapple to bore it out for an 18650?

I have bought a lot of lights here on CPF. I made sure what I was getting when I bought those light's. No one bought the light in question. If someone would have I hope they would do the research to see what is out there. It sounded like he made the light better?

I have a Titanium SF-III on order and I'm sure I'll get it. Ton's of people have purchased his light's and are happy with them.

Everyone likes to make money, look at all the people that do nothing to light's and flip them when the demand is high.

Just my 2 cents and I think this thread should be closed and people should get back to work or sell some titanium light's:nana:

It seems like you can always find something cheaper made in China. They are able to copy things quickly.

9 out of 10 times when I buy I do reserach and try to by things that are made in the good ole USA. Sometimes it cost more but it makes me feel better.

I thought I had read about Pineapple bodies with 18650s... but it looks like those were just the U2 bodies. Glad I could be of assistance!

Hmm, I now have a stock E2E body in front of me as well as one of FM's 18650 E-series bodies... The wall thickness is pretty pretty thin on the FM body at the head threads. If you tried to bore the E2E body all the way through, even just for a 17670, you would take the tail threads right off! I don't have a Pineapple body to look at, but it is possible that Pablo was wrong and that careful boring from the "head" would work.
