Actually, I beg to differ. Part of the joy of owning a light like the DGMG#4 is that it isn't a mass-produced item. It is unique and while the form might be duplicated, it will always be a one-of-a-kind.

Let's face it--just how many Mokume Gane flashlights are out in the world? I'd venture fewer than 20 pieces, perhaps even less than 10.

+10. I was just remarking on this to my partner yesterday.

My obsession is with Ti lights at the moment. They are as common as muck in comparison.

This light is a true collector's item though.

Three Cheers to Fred for making the most beautiful flashlight in the whole world! I can't even describe how lovely this gem is in person. This one will never be sold again as long as I am alive! I think I will take it with me when I am buried too along with one of my custom Jim Grandt fishing rods which cost about the same! I can't say thank you enough for the long hours and extreme attention to detail in making this masterpiece. Neale...you missed the boat on this one...UNBELIEVABLE! :thanks:
