Six Killer TiCN Coated Titanium AAA Keychain Lights For Sale:

• New 90mA driver and 5-die LED

• TiCN PVD coated--nice Gunmetal Gray

Eventually I will have more production run 90mA drivers, but for now, I only have twenty pieces, so I have installed some in these TiCN PVD coated Killers.

The new driver/LED combo produces a nice even beam, much wider than the Nichia LEDs, and without any angry purple hot spot. :devil:The silver solder blob has been machined flat to make a nice smooth contact with the battery positive contact.

Photographing gray lights isn't the easiest thing to do, so I've included some colorful objects in a few pics to help show the color.

I've had a few questions about the drive level being used with these five-die LEDs--more specifically, are they being overdriven?

The answer is, no, they are not being overdriven. The specified continuous forward current is 100mA, with a peak forward current of 500mA--of course that is irrelevant in the case of the Killer, since it does not use PWM.
