Head is Ti A2 by morelite.
Bezel is Iy by Don.
Lens is domed 22mm OD lens.
Custom Engine: FluPIG 350/500/850 + Cree XR-E P4/WC
Now the good parts:
Reflector: McR-20 sanded for XR-E
Tailpack: Custom CR2 Twisty tailpack
I don't show all of the CR2 Twisty Pack because the design it not finished.
I just wanted to show off.
At under 60mm, in the ON position, incl. Bezel, I have yet to see such a small/short CR2 light with an McR-20..
Many CR2 lights will have a 18mm or smaller reflector.
So it might be small and powerful, but a 20mm reflector does means more
light collamination then any other reflector designed for this sized light...
Also shown in the pics is it's kid-brother, the CR2 Arc LS modded w/ Cree XR-E P4/WC on a 200/400mA board, also with sanded McR-18 (Sanded at the bottom, not at the top)
Regarding my use of sanded McR-reflectors on Crees instead of McR-XR series, I got an McR-19XR, which is smaller in OD, but 5mm LONGER, but
still the beam of the McR-18/20 is much nices, and if your real-estate
is limited, this is the way to go ! I did comparisons of the beams side by side on the wall at 10ft away and I don't think the XR-reflector beats the sanded
McR. (don't ask my lazy *ss for beamshots please...
)
Anyway, for now I still have to finish the custom CR2 twisty pack
for my Ti A2. Whenever that is done, you will see the result...
For now, happy drooling...
