04 Tacoma: Philips 9003 X-tremeVision or Toyota bulbs?

Hi thanks to the advice of this forum I have Philips 9003 X-tremeVision bulbs.

I'm replacing my original Toyota headlight housings with new OEM ones because the old ones are totally yellowed and faded over. The new housings come with Toyota bulbs.

I see there's a stickied thread here about OEM bulbs. Any advice about which of these bulb options would be better?

Welcome to the board!

If it's a choice of those two, definitely the Philips X-TremeVisions.

But the better answer is "neither", instead get the Osram 70/65w bulbs from Daniel Stern while he's still got some left (or, at least, the Tungsram +120s, which are equal to the Philips X-Treme on low beam and better on high beam).

Whatever bulbs you end up putting in, it's super crucial to aim the lamps correctly, not just "kinda close".
