1.5v light modules with dimming modes running on aaa. Searching

I have an Odepro ED10. Amazing. I have a Dorcy 1aaa. Coil detached on the board. Not sure I can repair it. The Dorcy has good quality screw in parts. Is there a 1.5v module that can be dropped in / modified? The ED 10 is dimmable for long run time. A 1.5v bulb with the electronics inside would be good. The ED10 changes mode by cycling on and off. I have a penchant for rehabbing broken or ignored old lights. It keeps me from buying new ones. I wonder if the guts of the ED 10 is available. There seems to be a lot out there from China. Not sure I can trust their specs.
