1-mode 1000mA driver - please help

I was hoping someone could suggest a driver to use for 1 CR123 (3V) input, with a regulated output as high as possible.

Does anyone have experience with the Wizard2 board? I am pretty decent with soldering, but I wouldn't be able to figure out the solder points for cathode/anode, unless clear instructions were provided.

The last mod I did used a driver with pre-soldered wires, so that's my concern at the moment.
